Have you tried calling the Riu Vallarta yourself and speaking with Erika? I know my DH did that and it helped solve matters. Yes they do 3 weddings max a day but those 3 weddings are split among the resorts (Riu Jalisco & Riu Vallarta). Luckily I was the only wedding on the date I chose so I'm not sure if I got more attention from Erika and her assistant or not but I can assure you they really work their butts off to make sure all your requests are met. Which restaurant at the Vallarta did you want the dinner at?

Yeah we have a photo printer. I just use card stock and it looks great. I've gotten lots of positive feedback from the recipients. If we need a general card we usually just go to the dollar store. And then personalize it by writing a nice message inside.

That's cool Morgan. I always design my own Bday cards too but I personalize them with photos pertaining to the birthday girl or boy. Love the idea with the alphabet!

Yes I hear you on that! last year my guests were melting in the beginning of October. I think our wedding day got up to 110 or something crazy like that. our poor wedding guests....

Help! We got a sectional couch from our neighbor which is nice BUT he smokes in his house. Ewwwwww so it smells like smoke. Is there any way to get out the smell or is it a lost cause? I was thinking febreeze but there's only so much febreeze can do.

Hmm it shold give you the option of no background and let you import your layouts directly... hubby is on the mac right now but I'll look at it this afternoon. Maybe they changed it?
