I would like to nominate Helen (Helen_S81). She's a mother of the bride and has been such a great asset in the PV/Nuevo Vallarta areas. Even though her daughter has been married for over 7 months she continually offers advice and knowledge with the Rius. Daiquiri Dicks is awesome! We had drinks there once and it was great. i think the menu was moderate when it came to prices and they had a great selection. I've only ever seen the outside of the River Cafe and the location is perfect and it looks really nice on both he inside and outside. But i guess looks aren't everything, right?

If something was going down with Air Transat I'm sure it would be all over the news. Don't worry if your flights are still there in the search you did I'm sure everything is OK :0)

Brooke, welcome to the forum. I would recommend looking into Las Caletas it's in PV and it's such a beautiful site for a wedding. There's a whole thread on it in the PV section of the forum. Best of luck planning :0)

HI Trisha, happy turkey day to you as well What type of restaurant/location are you interested in? DO you want a small venue where you can host a private welcome dinner? Are you interested in a certain type of menu? I know of a great little Mexican restaurant in the older PV area. I forgot the name but I'll look it up on the card I have when I get home. They do great Mexican authentic cuisine and really tend to their customers. They even make the guacamole right in front of your table. Oh one more thing, are you interested in a live music at all?

Just bought DH the Panasonic Blu -Ray for $150 from slickdeals ( OOS: Panasonic Blu-ray Disc Player DMP-BD35 $150--Starting on Sunday 11/23-- - SlickDeals.net Forums ) Now I'm stuck and don't know which movies are worth buying. I know for sure I need to get the new Batman coming out in a couple weeks. They are kind of pricey so I want to get ones that he will watch over and over and worth the blue- ray experience, KWIM? Hmmm Carly does he have any other gaming system? If he does what type of games interest him? We really like the Wii Fit system and Wii Sports. We play Mario Kart every once in a while too but most of the other games haven't been touched in a while. Although I'm thinking about breaking out the guitar hero over the holidays

Oh my, we had these pumpkin cookies last week at DH's Thanksgiving for work and they were AMAZING. I think I'm going to try this recipe and adjust it a little (minus the chocolate chips and make them sandwiches with some cream cheese icing in the middle). YUMMY!
