  1. Nice find!! I love Target clearance, you've just inspired me for a Sunday trip there
  2. Nice band jamielynne. I just had to post you're down to less than one month!

I've been trying to think of how to incorporate it now too. LOL Well if any of you are still having AHR you could always do it then.

For some reason i thought it was.... but I could be wrong. it's been a while since I was there last. Anyways a good source to check out is Welcome to Weather Underground : Weather Underground look up Punta cana and go look at the historic temps for past July. As long as everyone stays hydrated, wears uv protection (sunscreen, hats etc) they should be fine. The ceremony is usually 25 minutes tops.... and you could always plan it for later in the afternoon. We also asked our WC to provide some ice water with glasses for our guests especially our grandparents. It was 109 degrees and it was very humid.
  5. Wonderful job on the book! One thing to keep in mind is everyone signs these books differently. I know our guestbook fit 50 peoples signatures and comments easily.... some people write alot and some people didn't but they always find a way to squeeze it in there. So i'm sure your beautiful book will have plenty of room and I wouldn't worry.
  6. Since this is a wedding forum and this is a wine related thread i'm going to post this here: lol Have any of you seen one of the newest trends for weddings is having the couples favorite bottles and assortments of wine out for their guests autographs and messages? The the guests are provided with gold or silver permanent markers to write their special notes or comments on them. I just saw this and thought it was a great idea/ keep sake.... just wanted to pass it on One couple had 25 bottles, one for every anniversary until their 25th.
  7. You have nice taste, I voted #2 but I see I'm the minority.. lol
  8. Congrats to the newest Riu PV brides AVA & Heather! Can't wait to hear all about it all and see all the beautiful photos!!!
  9. I love wine! I used to be all about Reds but then the sulfates were giving me really bad headaches just after a couple sips. Now I stick to the whites I love a nice Chardonnay on a nice hot summer's day. Have you heard they now have this organic wine which is sulfate free?! I need to try that stuff out and see what it's about.
  10. Oh I love how your hair turned out! You looked beautiful i can't wait to see more. Good choice on the gerber daisey colors. They look fantastic!
  11. I agree with what everyone else has said. Good points ladies. Also make sure the length of time that the photographer is willing to photograph is laid out (ie all day coverage, # of hours etc). Also usually there's a deposit involved make sure that's on there as well as the total cost for the package. That way there's' no hidden fees and it's all written out.

Also if you get there within the first couple hours of the parks opening you can try out for the Idol experience and audition to be on one of the many shows throughout the day. 13. How did i miss this thread? me and DH are addicted to Idol. Love it. Even better on our last trip we went to Disney in March we got to see Idol the experience and it was so cool. Totally recommend going.
  14. Oo love the wording "Beach Chic" very nice I think we just used word of mouth and told everyone to be comfortable good thing too because it was 109 degrees out. My poor guests were sweating puddles.
  15. the hat suits you... hehehehe Looks like you had fun!
  16. I've seen some of your details before Shelley but never your cake or "marry my mommy" cards. I am inlove with your cake girl! And the pups are too cute! NINE DAYS LEFT!!!!!!!
  17. What about a bottle of wine? LOL to loosen up. I know when I finally decide to get these done I'll be stiff as a board!
  18. Oh Carly you're so creative! Love your idea of using the left over fabric from the flower girl dresses, so meaningful. Cattie did you decide on anything yet?
  19. I heart FML. It's a great site to cheer you up and give you a chuckle. maura showed it to me about 3 weeks ago and I've been hooked ever since.
  20. Right Alyssa! I was in the first season of BL too. I do think the tone was different.... I miss Mrs G.
  21. I say we shouldn't be biased on who can join vs who can't join because of their sex. I mean we don't have a different bracket for the weights.. it's all based on %. I was under the impression ANYONE was able to join in this challenge. The more people in this competition the more motivation to work our butts into shape. Plus it also helps with everyone sharing whats working for them and whats not working for them. The more the merrier. We're doing this for ourselves.... the $ is just a bonus. If the $ is your only motivator in this competition you have more issues than your weight.
  22. To be honest I doubt you will need the microphone system. You should be fine on Rosemary beach which is beautiful btw! How long is your ceremony?
  23. Juan saves the day! That's awesome. Everything looked beautiful including the stunning bride. :0) Congratulations - btw I totally got a kick out of the potty photo. I think thats a BDW first for a photo LOL
