Ditto to all the primer recommendations. It's your BFF when it comes to photos as well as a good photog who knows how to air brush properly hehe. The combo works wonders!

I loved all the candles in the evening at Las Caletas it makes it so much more romantic and tranquil. I'm dying to go back!

It is one of the further resorts from the airport but most resorts in PC you're looking at minimum 25 minute commute from the airport. Hope this helps. What a cute idea!!! I have the best idea for a ring shot photo too if you're interested let your photog know - Place your rings on separate teas in the grass. Love them!

Just to let you know I was a gazebo bride (wouldn't change it to the beach for anything) and i still had strangers standing and staring during my ceremony. LOL It's a resort and people really like to watch weddings even if they don't know you. SO if it's the beach you want - go for it! Most photogs can photoshop out people swimming in the ocean so just let your photographer know ahead of time. It's an easy fix, promise

Oh wow you're having a wonderful turnout with 80-100 guests! That will be so much fun in Costa Rica. I wouldn't say there is any time limits on DW events because they're all customizable. Plenty of DW's have events throughout the week leading up to the big day. I'm sure your resort to cater to any requests that you have for your cocktail hour and reception. I know my DW had a reception with dancing throughout the night but we didn't really have a cocktail hour just an hour break in between the ceremony and dinner so we could get some photos in and our guests could get comfortable for the evening if they wished to change clothes or go to the bar and have a drink to cool down.

Welcome to BDW :0) A couple of beautiful churches down south that come to my mind are the catholic church in Puerto vallarta and the church in Los Cabos. Love your flowers, the colors you picked are pretty. looks like your TTD got a little hawt and heavy Aren't they fun?! I think that was both my DH's and mine favorite photo session from our wedding. We just let loose and had a great time.

Hey I learned something new. I didn't know this was a Jewish tradition until reading this thread. Thanks! I don't think it's weird at all but maybe that's because I too had both parents walk me down the isle.

Reading this thread makes me wish I was in PV right now. You're right Rhythms of the Night is not to be missed! Such an amazing experience unlike any other. Oh i love PV and it's always nice to hear from others who feel the same.
