Hi girls! Happy Friday to all of you! Weighed in this morning and I've lost 1 pound. heheh I know it's not much and I totally thought it would be more. Hmph. Oh well there is always next week. I'll just have to be REALLY good this weekend. I'm going to see family and they LOVE to cook and eat.

No I don't think his family realizes that. It's always a fight for who gets to spend time with him. It's NEVER a good situation to be in and there's always drama when it comes to his side. IT BLOWS! But we'll be there for a full week with them (sat to sun; wedding on a wed) and we have plenty of activities planned for both families to participate in. His mom will be staying 2 weeks but she'll be there the same dates for the first week as us. I just don't get it! Why would you want to be with your son on his honeymoon? HONEYMOON = newly weds right?

Think you could find them at a craft store? I really like the idea and getting my bridesmaids some for their boquet too. perhaps the sandal ones.

We're planning on staying at the Riu resort for the week of the wedding. then switching somewhere closer to PV for our honeymoon. I stayed at the Premiere Hotel & Spa 3 years ago and now prices look as if they tripled from then! So we may opt for the sister hotel Beunaventura. I just am relying on getting the jacuzi suite. CROSS MY FINGERS! Oh and can you beleive the nerve of his mom? She's upset that we're switching hotels. It's our honeymoon! I don't understand am i being selfish?

Thanks Jill! My first week is going ok I guess. It's tough getting back on the WW wagon. Today I went out for lunch and I settled for a chicken breast wrap without any ranch sauce and opted for a garden salad rather than a ceasar! It was yummy but I was craving something with grease in it. Everyone else was doing burgers and fries so that didn't help. I'll have to weigh in tomorrow because I'm leaving for the weekend to go see my cousin in Saskaton. But I'm thinking I'll be ok. As long as I don't gain. I hvaen't been eating much at all. My emotions have been killing my hunger so I'll just have to wait and see!!! When does everyone usually weigh in? Friday??

Awwww... I was so excited about the cookie dough sunday! BUT my grocery store didn't have any. Or else it's a Canada thing - we never get the cool new food items.

Good to know ladies, thanks for all the info. KEEP IT COMMING! hee hee I must say, that with every day that passes I get happier and more satisfied that we booked the wedding with the Riu Jalisco. I just cross my fingers that it won't rain. I'm sure it'll turn out and it will be an unforgettable day no matter how it turns out.

Oh jessalyn that dress is GORGEOUS ON YOU! I tried on that exact dress and it did not flatter me one bit! After seeing it on you I wish it looked like that on me! haha just kidding. LOVE IT! Speaking of which i can't wait to see your photos of your wedding by johnathan too !

hey melissa - is your wc name Andrea? Just wondering if the 2 Riu's have the same wc. I'm so excited. I really would have liked the vallarta but I wanted the gazebo for the wedding at Jalisco. Does the Riu Vallarta have one? I know the rooms look alot nicer and comfier at the vallarta. I know I'm the only bride at the Jalisco but I thought I would share my findings. WOO HOO Kash - that's great news! I must admit after just starting WW on Saturday (yesterday) I forgot how much I adore sauces and cheese! I think I try to put cheese on everything and sometimes i just snack on cheese alone. A bad 'no no' I am having trouble with. And tonite I am craving spaghetti so I bought some whole wheat noodles and saved up enough points from the day I can have it. I forgot how hard this is. I love food

Hi gang I just don't know what to do when it comes to picking a photographer. Both me and jared agree this is our number 1 priority. We've been in contact with the Riu Jalisco WC, Andrea, and she has informed us the only photographer premitted is Jose Arreola. Very nice gentleman (through emails) and his prices are REALLY reasonable. I just don't know. This is his site... tell me what you gals think and some constructive comments if you have any. YES I love that idea of a monogram on linen paper! But then i have to decide on color and I really can't make up my mind. haha And I've been trying to make a monogram on my own for a week now and it's getting sooo frusterating! Do you think I should mention the hotel or travel agent? Or should I just leave them the way they are and rely on me communicating to my guests through email, phone etc?

Perhaps I will go to a couple, just to please my curiosity. I'm actually getting excited about this. hahaha When i went to try on dresses I did feel really good about my body for some reason. Don't know why... I think all the dresses I tried on were really flattering and those corset types really pulled me all in.

Does anyone have any good websites with some help for making monograms in adobe photoshop csv? I spent all this money on a program and I barely use it. It's very difficult.. but I know if I learn I will hopefully use it more.

Sure no problem... mine are plain. I did them in photoshop myself and just uploaded them to the printing company. I don't know how to use photoshop I'm still such a beginner. I see so many ideas on here now I don't know if I like mine any more... they are just so plain. ** SORRY GIRLS i HAD TO DELETE THIS.. so those spammers don't get me

OKay I'm in.... starting tomorrow This means I should eat something reeeaaally bad tonite. Perhaps order pizza. haha
