  1. Thanks Tammy! I'm definatley with or without OOT bags giving this to my guests
  2. Goos find but for some reason the link won't work for me. I think I wouldn't mind using them at that price for thank you cards.
  3. I saw Claudias work and i loved her style. I was planning on using her until I noticed she wasn't in PV... AHAHAHAHAHHA
  4. Woo Hoo you can post now! Welcome to the forum
  5. Ohhh so thats what the BANk is. I was trying to figure that out. As for all the newbies I think this site is SUPER popular now. Good job ladies and most of all Tammy!
  6. Melissa the make up looks beautiful it really emphasizes your eyes. Those eyes are a gorgeous color and that shadow really pops them out. Blush and lips look good too. Good work - you're lucky you have a sister that's good at that stuff.
  7. HMM well my trip to Micheals was a costly one. I always go there and walk out with a million things. It's horrible. Here's the costing Thread: had at home would be aprox $5?? Combs: pack of 4 $7 Crytals: $14 ($7 each pack and I only used one pack) Fabric under $10 uh huh that's right My time: priceless!
  8. OK here are some pictures of me in the veil.... not in my sweat pants. And a pic of the comb atached to the veil.
  9. Ann - why don't you try buying a cheap veil even and then adding the crystals/embellishments later? I can't belive how much the bridal stores raise up the prices for a $6 package of Swvarski crystals. It's insane!!! I got the ribbon at Micheals too. i can't remember anymore I bought alot of different stuff but majority form micheals and fabric land. Michaels had veils but they weren't flexible/flowy I found. Jilly- I didn't have a pattern/instructions. Sorry Hun. But i can help you out as much as I can It really was not hard what so ever!!!! I SWEAR I'm no expert sewer either. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Now I just hope it goes with my dress... which I'm sure it will.
  10. BTW - Julie good job on the .5! You had a successful week so pat on the back to u hun!
  11. How's everyone doing this week? I've started eating again more regularly!! YAY! It helped going home. Everyone was asking me if I had lost weight - I admitted I've lost weight due to stress. BAD WEIGHT LOSS. So my aunt made me my fav cheese bread and I had to have a piece!! I couldn't resist... then she made me yummy healthy food like chciken fajitas (sp) and chilli. Yum... so this week so far has been good. Trying to drink as much water as possible and eat healthy as usual. We'll see what the scale says on Saturday. The scale never lies. Now if I could just get my butt of the computer and onto my eleptical.

The Gran bahia isn't that in the Mayan?? If so, my friends just got back from there and said it was PARADISE!
  13. I don't have much sewing experience. SERIOUSLY I think ANY ONE OF YOU could make your own veil. I am no martha or veil designer by any means. All it is: a comb, krinalin, krinalin ribbon, and crystals. Oh and the only things you need are thread and needle. I did it all by hand.
  14. It's like a club you join for $5 a year and it gives you tips and all the airfares at their cheapest prices. That's what i understand from it
  15. I don't think anyone could even dare me to put that picture on this forum! It's horrible. It took me quite a while to make. I worked on it all last week and spent a few hours on it at a time. It is VERY TIME CONSUMING and those lil crystals are hard to sew on. I got 2.5 metres krinalin for the fabric and sewed the ribbon on after. I just got really thin white thread to work with (you can barely see it). Then I sewed it on a comb to place it in my hair. That was the tough part - gathering it up on the comb so it becomes puffy. I had no pattern at all. Just looked at a couple of pictures and improvised with what I wanted. I think it looks similar to the ones in the store but when I put it on with my sweat pants it looks goofy. I think I need to see what it looks like on with the dress.
  16. Has anyone herad of this company before? My mom said it was on the news and people HIGHLY RECOMEND it. Anyone else heard anything?
  17. Thanks. I just couldn't see myself spending $200 in the store. i guess I'm cheap. hehehe I would put it on but I am looking rather like a bum. Wearing my sweat pants and I took a picture but it's absolutley hillarious! The veil sits just below my shoulders and I'll be wearing a tiara as well. Perhaps I'll go try my dress on again and bring the veil.
  18. Ladies some of you wanted me to post the pics when I started making my veil. Well I started off a protoge and here it is. Tell me what you think. I don't know if you can see enough detial but it's a cascade with 2 layers and swvarski (SP) crystals sewed on.
