Hi Lisa, to BDW have you decided on a location yet? being that customs is involved (been there myself as I'm CDN and dh is American) will you be getting married legally before? It sometimes can help the situation we found.

I'm moving your post to the RM/Cancun section.... I think you'll find more help there than the newbie area but indeed welcome to the forum I can't personally answer your question but before looking into hiring an outside photographer be sure to get approval from Dreams Wedding Co-ordinator. I know some resorts don't like you to bring your own and that's one last minute stress you don't need! -
to BDW Amanda! Great choice! PV is wonderful to visit in October. I had my DW there in Oct of 07'. It's very humid and warm but sooo tropical and nice. be sure to check out our PV section of the forum where you can many reviews on PV sites and resorts. happy planning!

Welcome to the forum, I've been to Dreams Punta Cana and it made for a gorgeous DW. I would also check out the Riu chain there and I can't remember the other resort I caught a glimpse of..... hmmmm well best of luck and happy planning!

It was included with our photography package for our photographer. we got up bright and early around 6 am (day after) and did it then. It was so much fun and I couldn't think of a batter way to start the day off!
