I just figured out I could change the appearance of the overall forum. I was browsing last night and clicked on the bottom left corner where it says either: girltalk, chienta or default. I clicked on Chienta and it's so pretty! It's like a whole other BDW heheheheh :bush2:

Hi Tara, so sorry to hear about this. it doens't seem fair. I'm no nurse or doctor but I had a miscarriage a couple years ago and I went to talk to someone because I couldn't understand how it happenned. I was on the pill and we use protection 90% of the time( FH is freaked out when it comes to this). Anyway the impossible did happen. I was told some very interesting things: 1. I was on the same BC since I was 13 (I was prescribed it at a young age for cramps not because I was sexually active LOL not that it matters). But the pill I was on had a low estrogen level for my weight and the doctor/therpist told me I should have been switched once I was aroud 130 lbs. So the BC I was on wasn't effective... VERY SCARY! 2. Most BC pills have a one hour window and you need to take the pill the same time every day for it to be effective. if you forget make sure you take it ASAP. I didn't know about the one hour window. I would take it in the morning every day but on the weekends i would sleep in, thus I would miss that window on the weekends. 3. OK this may be TMI: if he pre-ejaculates (which most men do just a tiny bit) this can pregnate you as well. If you have a condom on and take it off, make sure he washes it before he enters you again. The lady told me this is another method people get pregnant hat they don't think about. Pretty scry stuff that i didn't know about. Good information to know though. Hope everythign works out Tara

Well we will be staying the the Riu Jalisco and using the Gazebo for the wedding ceremony. I'm not sure if you could stay at the Vallarta and use the gazebo? I know both offer the option of beach weddings as well which is ore popular of course being in mexico and all. I guess I just dared t be different and I fell inlove with the gazebo at first sight LOL and had my heart set on it ever since. Hmmm... have you checked out Reviews of vacations, hotels, resorts, vacation and travel packages - TripAdvisor yet? They have good candid photos? What kind of destination wedding did you have in mind? I know there are sooooo many options, aren't there?

HI Martha; yes you are correct. The jalisco has the gazebo, which is the main reason me and FH picked the Jalisco over the new Vallarta. For your reception you would get a choice of having the reception at any of the resaurants at the resort where your ceremony takes place. We decided to go with the Brazilia restaurant and it will be fully booked for our 60 guests. How many guests are you having?

Hey Martha I am a PV Riu bride. To answer your question, yes the beach is swimmable. I've never been there but Edyta and her FH have and they had a wonderful time. I'm so excited, I've seen nothing but gorgeous pictures there. Th landscaping is amazing. The resort also provides boogie boards, kayaks, snorkellig gear, windsurfers, sail boats and peddle boats... LOTS OF OPTIONS. Are you thinking about vacationing there Martha?

I'm with Glenda - I HATE NEEDLES. but we decided to get married legally in Florida.... and hopefully if everything goes smoothly we'll be getting legally married in the summer (a couple months prior t our october wedding)

Good thread Tasha! I need some hair ideas so bring on the inspiration ladies LOL and to add to all the comments I really liked your hair too. The feather adds a nice touch. I think it looks better on darker hair too for some reason.... ok I may be wrong but thats just my opinion

In the airport Jared bought me a wedding magazine.... such a cool feeling to knwo that i could actually start planning and looking!!! Then I purchased the STD magnets.... I think? I know we got a few engagement gifts, wedding planner, lace sticky notes, keepsake box etc.
