Hi hun, I feel for you and honestly don't know what to say. I agree with the girls in that you need to stand up for yourself and most of all Erik needs to be more direct with his mother too. Bottom line this is YOURS and ERIKS wedding, no one elses. When it comes down to it no one else should matter (but unfortunaltley they always do). Who cares if its short notice?! If it's important to these people they will show up and if not, well it's not meant to be. Either way i think your wedding will work out and everything will be unforgettable in a good way Keep your head up Andrea.... and tell the FMIL who the bride is. hehe

Well we're having our legal ceremony next week but our real anniversary won't be until October 10th, the day we get married in mexcio. I know I'm weird but I don't look at the legal ceremony as anything but a piece of paper giving me more rights, as for our Mexico ceremony we will have our own vows and be before all our family and God, therefore this will be the day we celebrate our anniversary. I guess we're just different.

OK Laura well that's good that Nottawegga(sp?) got back to you and you have an apointment. I really hope this is the place and I'll cross my fingers for you that everything goes well... as for the other place which was fully booked for June could you ask about the last weekend in May or the first weekend in July? Yes this all is happening pretty fast. Me and Jared have been together for 5 years though so it's not like we're being irratonal about this whole process. we take it very seriously. I was in Lethbridge but I moved about a week ago down here to Florida. My hunni is in the air force and stationed down here. All this immigration issues (me a canadian him an american) is what is causing this uproar. In order for me to stay here past my 6 months we must file for residency and in order to travel I need a i-131 and then to work another form. It's a PITA dude! Oh and I just found out I hav to do this huge ass medical asap too. They are going to check me for tuburclosis and hiv. And do some skin test. I hate that crap. BAH - that's how I fee on the paperwork. As for our marriage on monday I couldn't be happier to finally marry my best friend/lover.

Jusy saw that it's your birthday today so I wanted to send best wishes to the sweet Bday girl.

Thank goodness, I'm not alone. I was seriousy thinking of going and buying a prego test this afternoon.... I don't want to even think about going down that road right now

Catharine you're ok then, Yasmin is ok for peoepl who weigh over 120 lbs (at least that's why I gt switched). sidenote: funny story me and Jared just went to get our marriage license for Monday. So we went to the court house and I was askin him if my boobs looked bigger. He was like "YES! last night I thought I was losing it because they looked bigger" so I'm dancing around the court house (we were alone) singing I got big boobies, i got big boobies,. Then the clerk comes around te corner and laughs. We all laughed about it but this just goes to show how excited I am about this. I am usually a big a small b. This calls for a victoria secret visit!! hehehe

I went on alesse whe I was 13, not because I was sexually active but because I had horrible cramps. Doc sad now that I'm over 120 lbs I should be taking something stronger (I weigh 140 lbs). Oh crap, so you didn't experience this?

Andrea I'm so happy for you that everything is going to work out. It usually does in some weird way. Glad to see you and Erik are doig well too. I was super worried about you a few weeks ago. And now I'm so excited to see the pictures! I think that's my favorite part on this site how we all share our pictures with eachother.

OK ladies is anyone else on this pill? I just made the switch from Alesse to Yasmin beause my doc told me I;ve been on Alesse WAAAAY TOO LONG and my body weight isn't ideal for it anymore. So this is my second month with Yasmin. My boobs are very sensitive (more than normal) and I swear they have gotten bigger. I read on the website that this may be a normal side effect. Anyone else experence a similar side effect?

sorry hun yep I'm OK all is well. I just ran ino some problems with immigration paperwork and we had to push up our civil ceremony date to THIS MONDAY! LOL Sorry didn't mean to startle you.... PV should still happen depending on all this paperwork.

I keep trying to google some information on what to expect for our civil ceremony on Monday. This is happening so fast and I'm the type of person wh is usually very organized and prepared. Do we say vows? Do I need to write them myself Do we need our rings? we don' have those yet either... How long does it take? Can my FH's mom be our witness?? I need help please.

sorry I'm so late on this post. I've been catching up for a while now. Just saw the ring and it's GORGEOUS! I love the baguettes(sp) on the side. Very dazzling and glamorous!
