Welcome to the forum Martin. I'll be going to PV this fall for my wedding as well. So far we got a fishing trip planned and we will be doing the canopy tours. Never done them before but I hear they are amazing!!

I can see why you're stressing out, I would be too! I haven't read any of the others girls advice but I hate dealing with conflict so I would text her that you're not coming till saturday. I know I'm awful... and hopefully she's busy enough with other stuff not to care. But I also hope she understands just how much you're spedning on being apart of her wedding. I am completely understanding of all my BM's and their expenses; I insisted on purchasing their dresses and I didn't force any of them to come to Mexico with us ( 1 cancelled but I'm not mad at her). I don't know why I was thinking I needed another color, when cream/white would work perfectly. I also like the idea of maybe having the red and black in there as this was wha my original houghts were back in January (I've taken so long to revist and only 2 months before the BIG day). I am planning on red flower petals on the tables, would that be wrong if all our flowers are white? So back to the flower issue, white Calla lillies for them and me? Hi gals I need some help with brainstorming. My brain apprantly isn't working by itself. OK so my BM dresses are a copper color (pic provided below). What color do you think would best go with copper? And I need some serious flower suggestions. I see all of yours and they are ALL GORGEOUS! I hope my flowers are just as nice. I'm torn between all white calla lillies, all red roses OR a variety of tiger lillies, astromallas(SP) and roses. I don't know what the tradition is for BM flowers? Do they get a smaller replica of mine? I'm SO CONFUSED. Also I decided to go with invitations (I know I need to get my butt in gear). So I was going to go with a coffee or copper color but I need another color to add to it so it isn't so blah. Don't you agree? The pic below is the style I'm kinda going for...

Hmm yea I can see how you would be frusterated not getting a reply after a week. That's waaaay to long IMO. It took us about a month, I think to narrow it down to a specific resort. I knew we both wanted Nuevo Vallarta (PV) the problem was which resort. There were 3 that we were choosing from and I think I used tripadviser alot o read peoples good and bad reviews to see if it was for us. I also made up an excel sheet of the wedding packages each resort had and compared their prices on everything from wedding fee, chair fee, champagne fee, dinner fee, photographer, length of stay at resort etc etc. Then we sat down and decided which one was for us and our guests. I thought your web site was wonderful and you're off to a good start. That's what i did first, then came the date and place, then save the date post cards, then the dress (which I still flip flop about to this day... good thing it comes next week ). Good luck!

Hmmm all of our guests are from different places hence why we decided to go with a DW. So I definitley agree with you there it makes sense to go somewhere tropical and make it a sweet vacation for everyone involved as well. As for your FMIL I think she and the fam will change their mind, it IS THEIR son's wedding. That's a very importnt day in his life and I'm sure they will want to take part in it. I think people just like to complain when it comes to decisions they don't get to make. So try not to take it to heart girl!

I found their site: www.blubylen.com and Im curious if anyone has ever used them or knows anyone that has used them. Looking at what my hotel offers the prices look kinda steep ($100 for a style without a trial) I sent an email off to Blu By Len to inquire on the bridal package they offer. If anyone is interested let me know and I can post it.
