I know a lot of people do it and love it, but at the tasting we did at the beginning of this month it was not great. Meat was tough and the lobster was chewy. I totally thought we would do the surf and turf going in, but we ended up w chicken and sea bass. And it wasn't the price difference that had any effect on us - I wouldn't have done S&T if it was the same price as all the other options. __________________ Kate- How was the taste of chicken & sea bass? Hi Girls! For those of you who are getting married at Dreams Los Cabos in 2008, Have you talked with your cordinator about food yet? I am looking into having steak & lobster but not sure on how much they are charging per person. If you are having steak & lobster for your reception, how much are they charging you per person...... I am hoping not to pay a grip of money for food. Thanks, Brandy

Hi Morgan, Yeaa! We share a wedding date. I have set our ceremony for 4:00. I know it will be hot, but i don't want to be rushed....and I want more time to dance, dance, dance!! I was thinking of having my ceremony at 5, but by the time we take pictures, eat , speeches father/daughter dance and our first dance....we won't have enough time to party! So, hopefully the time works out. If it's really hot, then maybe i can talk to my cordinator at the hotel to figure something out...maybe add umbrella's on the beach? At Dreams, they have really cute ones.

I have a question.... Can you have a rehersal dinner at either one? If so, do they charge you to have it at either restaraunt?

Kseif, Congratulations on your wedding! What was the $50 per person for? Food, drinks and set-up for the wedding? I've been told that it's $80 per person for a day pass if our guest aren't staying at Dreams. I think it's a lot of $$ to pay if they will only attend the wedding for the day....so i'm hoping that maybe i can get the same deal too=) BTW.....How did they sneak in? Some of my "daring" guests said they would try to snaek in and they would never know.....hmmmmmm..

I know i am a little ahead of the game but would like to get an idea of what time i should do. I am getting married at Dreams Los Cabos next June '08 and was thinking of starting the ceremony at 6:00 pm. But i think that would be to late b/c by the time people will eat( ceremony, pictures etc.), it will be 8:00 already..I am getting married on the beach so i really don't want the sand to be too hot for people to walk on it... I reeeeeaaaaalllly want the fun part to begin! I want to go dress shopping, look for bridesmaid dresses and buy all the cute bridal stuff. I'm afraid that if i do lots of things now, then i will be really bored in months to come. My beautiful Kids! Jaden & Makenzie

Thanks girls for your reply. I have been looking at dresses, centerpieces shoes and everything you can think of. I have a folder...i seperated it into sections and i have lots of ideas for each section, but i am already bored with that! I have made a guest list, but i didn't start my wedding website...ooops! I should get on the ball with that. I am sure i will find myself changing my mind on things, so i better not complain just yet.. -Brandy

Hi Ladies! My wedding is not until Next June, 2008, but i find myself bored! I am trying to find things i can do like i called Yesica to see when we can start talking about food...and i talked to my wedding coordinator about when we can start dicussing flowers...they both said it's a little too early to start talking about that stuff.. I am in the process of taking care of my photographer's deposit....gave my wedding coordinator & the company who's designing my std's a deposit..... so now i have nothing to do....boo! Dreams Los Cabos June 21, 2008!

I have no contacts for sitters in Cabo, but i do know Dreams Resort has a kids club. And i was thinking of maybe hiring some of their staff to care for the kids.

Hey Girls! I have a question for you....... How much did you spend on each item if you are purchasing them: invitations, table cards, std's, favor tags and place cards? I have a quote from a website for $ 622 for all the items i have mention.....is that too much? or is a a good deal? I have no clue on how much each item should cost or i should pay..... I am going for my site visit next month( hopefully i 'm still going, my passport hasn't came yet)...i think it's necessary for me to go b/c i am sooo anal about what i want and like. I am meeting with my wedding cordinator and a few vendors. I am getting married June 2008 but want to get on track with getting things started..

I am actually in the process of using them. So far...so good! They have lots of good ideas and they are affordable. I am having them make my save the dates boarding pass and they look good! They are 2 awesome girls!
