  1. Yay! Congratulations and I hope your day is everything you've dreamed of - and more!!!! Lindsay
  2. WOW! Leigh, your work is so amazing, oh how I wish I had known about you before my wedding at Las Caletas...you take such beautiful photos!!!! Ann, everything looked great - you look absolutely beautiful and there's no way you could tell you weren't feeling well! Breathtaking. Jamy and Ann (and any other Las Caletas Brides) we should all do a big BDW 2 year vow renewal!!!!!!! How cool and fun would that be!!? I should email Nicole about that!!! Lindsay
  3. Wow! Stunning!!!! Very beautiful, I'm sure the rest will be just as gorgeous!!! Lindsay
  4. Ann and Jamy; Reading your reviews makes me want to go back and do it all over again as well!! (and I wasn't sick!!!) My hubby and I keep saying we want to go back and do it all over again - it was just so much fun and so perfect!!!! Lindsay
  5. AAAH - can't see the pics!!! Fantastic review - sounds like your wedding was a blast!!!! Congratulations!!!! Lindsay
  6. Yay Ann!!! Welcome back - we missed you!!! Reading your review made me remeber every detail of our day as well, they definitely do everything right at Las Caletas...I'm SO happy we chose it for our wedding! I'm so sorry you ended up sick on the big day - but it sounds like everything went well otherwise!!! I can't wait to see the pictures!!! Lindsay
  7. Beautiful! Can't wait to see the pros!!! Aaaah - it's bringing back all the memories!!!! Lindsay
  8. Nope - I didn't hire the hairdresser - but I have short hair! I took my aunt (who is a retired hairdresser) over to Las Caletas with me in the morning - and she did my hair for free! If it would have turned out my aunt wasn't coming, I would have done it myself! I would suggest either doing it yourself, or having a friend or a bridesmaid or someone help you do it - I think $300 is a little too much!!! I think Ann hired the hairdresser, so I'm sure she will be able to tell you all about it though, (and if I recall, I think she said something about it being $300!) (ouch!) I wouldn't want to risk having my hair done before heading over to Las Caletas on the boat though, it just gets too windy and I think it would fall for sure....even with a ton of hairspray... Lindsay
  9. Leigh - that picture is breathtaking, I can only imagine what the rest of them will look like!!! Enjoy your son's graduation!!! Lindsay
  10. Well, in the garment bag that I had my gown in, I had FH's wedding clothes, and my veil. I put my jewellery in my purse, and I was also allowed a carry on in addition to my wedding gown - so I put the important things in that! Check with your airline to see if you can carry on a bag as well as your wedding dress! I love that you are getting married on April 1st! That's such a great date!!!! (It's also my parent's anniversary!) Lindsay PS: haven't seen any recent pics from LC weddings - Jayme (Starchild) was married June 2nd - and I'm not sure when she is back...
  11. Welcome to the forum!!! Everyone here is so helpful!!!
  12. Congratulations on setting a date!!! Now the fun and planning begins!!! Lindsay
  13. Yay!!! It's the day you've been waiting for!! Congratulations, I hope your day is everything you've been dreaming of and MORE!!!! I am so excited for you both and I can't wait to see the pictures!!!! Enjoy your day!!!!!! Lindsay
  14. We picked our own music, I think Nicole has a few options, but she suggested that we'd probably like to pick our own. We used Somewhere over the Rainbow (from 50 first dates) for the processional, and Smashmouth's I'm a Believer for the Recessional.. Lindsay
  15. Congratulations!! I cried during the vows part of our legal ceremony too - don't worry! (I was almost mad at myself for crying at first!!!) Lindsay
  16. YAY Tammy!! Congratulations!!!! I know everything will turn out perfectly for you and you will have a magical, fantastic day!! I can't wait to see pics!!! Lindsay
  17. The package you get for your wedding includes the use of the professional sound system, and they have all of the connectors/wires/everything to hook up to your ipod...it worked really well for us! Lindsay
  18. I'm SOOOOO late on this thread - I hate not having internet at home - but CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Lindsay
  19. Yay! Congrats TammyM!!! I can't wait to see pics!!!! Have a blast!!!! Lindsay
  20. Very good idea Tammy! I didn't do that, and (omg, this is terrible) I haven't even looked at the mat since we got home from our trip, I've been so busy!, so I don't know if anyone signed too close to the edge or not - I hope not! I have to get a picture for that mat and get it framed to display before our AHR!! I'm down to 30 days!! eeek! so much to do! Lindsay
  21. Yeah, I think it was pretty self explanatory...Nicole had the table set up top before the guests went down the stairs to the beach, she laid out the mat with the colored pens and we had our bubble wands in a basket there as well. There were a couple of people that missed signing the mat, because they were so rushed when they arrived (due to the boat being late, and the sun setting quickly!) so I was able to have them sign it at the hotel the day after the wedding. It worked well!
  22. That's a great idea Ann! We had a signature mat for our guest book table, and didn't have anything on the table, but I really like that idea! Sorry, I'm no help! Lindsay
  23. Ann, I would maybe email Nicole and ask her for the minister's email - then she will put you in touch with him/her and you can get the process started. We didn't put our ceremony together (talk to the minister) until two weeks before our wedding either, but I would definitely email Nicole and ask her to put you in touch with the person... Lindsay
  24. I think so, I just put in my email address and made up a password and then I was able to view the pics... Lindsay
  25. Here's a palm tree one we took on our trip in February - this was at Las Caletas actually - looking up... Lindsay
