  4. I like the second one with the smoky eyes... very elegant. I think eventhough wedding makeup should be simple and clean, you need some aspect of your face to pop, either your eyes, or lips, or cheeks.. but just one thing so it doesn't overpower your face. Why not get them done, take pictures, and see which one you like best... it may look different with your skin than on the model.
  5. Drink green tea... it speeds up your metabolism, and supposidly if you drink it over the course of a year you could lose as much as 10 lbs according to a doctor on the today show... who knows really. I've never tried WW... so I can't help with that one sorry.

I'm not sure we'll have a color scheme since we're not doing bridesmaids and groomsmen. I REALLY want Photoshop! I'm trying to get a bootlegged copy from someone, or I might just buy it off of ebay! I LOVE that program and desperately want it. Oh, and I probably have to invite 200 or so people, but I'm open to spending some time on them. Can you tell I have no idea what I want? I really don't care all that much, as long as they are cute I can get you a copy of all adobe software (shhhhhhhh), Photoshop, illustrator, indesign, macromedia, etc. I need to ask FI if he can do it ~ I don't think it should be a problem. All you'll have to cover is $1 for the disk and shipping. So pm me and let me know if your interested.
  7. WOW there geourgous! They look so professional and expensive! After you're weddings over you should think of starting your own custom wedding decoration company... all the stuff you did ~ put me to shame!
  8. I just opened Photoshop. You can use it... there's a function in all Adobe programs called Bride where you can access thousands of photos online i.e. starfish, palm trees, etc. But there is no clip art that I know of that you can use. So for example, I wanted to use a photo of a starfish, I resized it smaller, turned it into black and white, then picked the color I wanted to make it so that it appears to be a drawing.
  9. I used Adobe Illustrator. I was looking at MountainCow but didn't want to shell out the $$. I even had my FI search if he could download it online but he couldn't find it. I found out about MountainCow from a Wedding Magazine ~ looks like it may work. It depends upon how complicated you want your invites to look like, if its simple you can probably just buy clip art from Wedding Clipart - Make Wedding Invitations and Programs - Free Trial! and make it in word or ppt.
  10. LOL... to funny. My FI has a younger brother... uh oh!
  11. You look like you were having a blast!! Thanks for sharing.

I dunno but it sounded pretty cool. Those are the Paradisus Chains ~ The Paradisus Punta Cana in the DR - Which I absolutely fell in love with, too bad the flights from Chicago are pricier than to The RM otherwise we'd be at that hotel. Instead we chose the Paradisus Riviera Cancun - which also has the Royal Service. But I can imagine that the flights from Canada is what's really killing you. don't be discouraged, it may take some time but I'm sure you'll find a deal! Let me know if I can help.
  20. I would say that # 1 fits more with the style of your dress - But I'd lean towards #2 because its unique and different - in a way it symbolizes the uniqueness of your wedding i.e. destination. Plus its fun to wear something flirty that no one will really see until you guys do the garter toss (if that's what you want to do).
