  1. I'm not a big Champagne person, but I would recommend going to your local liquor store, In Illinois we have Binny's, their alcohol is usually cheaper and sometimes they have discount cards you can use. They sell their wine/champagne in cases, which is usually cheaper. Also, they hold events where you can taste wine and champagne (they usually have one once a week), where you can see if you like a particular brand. Otherwise, I would just buy one and see if you like it, its a good excuse to get a bit tipsy! Here's their website: Binnys Beverage Depot - Wine Search
  2. did you try contacting the judge who performed your legal ceremony I would try to contact everyone I could think of that was a part of your wedding there.

Well, during our first dance, he looked at me and said “you’re amazing- I can’t believe you put all this together. Thank you so much for making this such a perfect day. I’m so proud that you’re my wife†Talk about making it all worthwhile… AWWWWWW.... how sweet!! You did a wonderful job!! And you look beautiful! Can't wait to see more pictures!
  4. Can you have it replicated by a seamstress, I bet it would save a ton of $$$ plus you could keep it. Dresses are overmarked sometimes as much as 500% over what it actually cost to make. Plus you have to spend an additional $$ to get it altered usually.
  5. I would go with the "since your so smart why don't you handle it" approach like everyone else suggested. I would tell him that since you made all these "mistakes" he better take over from now on unless he wants more "mistakes". Just give up and let him take care of it all... if he doesn't want to then the house won't be finished... I bet he'll smarten up and start doing some work!! I know exactly how you feel ~ except instead of building a house, its planning a wedding. Sometimes I wish they made choke chains for men so you could make them listen to you.

  11. I drink Good Earth Green Tea, found at your local supermarket. It makes me feel energized and keeps me regular (sorry TMI!)
  12. I'm in Chicago. I'm actually working with a seamstress to design and make my dress..... she is also very reasonable. For a dress that I wanted to copy, lazaro, mermaid style, silk with swarowski beads shes charging me $1100 vs. $3800 for the one I wanted. She will work with any budget. Here is her info: Grace Designs By appt call grace (847) 259-3950 Mt. Prospect, IL. If you call her tell her Monika gave you her info!
  13. to be honest I hate the citron together, it just doesn't jive. I like the green a whole lot better... your colors are actually similar to mine, tourquoise, hot pink and chocolate brown.

  18. Have you ever laughed so hard that milk came out your nose? Can't say that I have. and now that I've said it it will probably happen to me today. Have you ever been scuba diving? bunjee jumping? sky diving? No.. I'm too much of a chicken Tell us three things about yourself the rest of the world doesn't know: 1. I am afraid of driving over bridges or driving up hills, I don't know why, I'm afraid of driving when I can't see the other side of what I'm driving to... really weird it just started recently. 2. During conversations, when someone is talking to me and I'm responding by saying.. hmmm, yea. I'm totally not listening too you. I know I'm horrible. 3. I can't stand the sound of a certain type of windbreaker material when it rubs together, it hurts my ears and makes me cringe like nails on a chalkboard. When I was younger my mom use to "test" the jackets before I even tried one on. What is the weirdest nickname you've ever been given from anyone? Kotush is my current nickname, it means kitten in polish. When was the last time you laughed so hard that you cried? Last Sunday after my team members teased me for accidently cc my professor on an email to my group members announcing that I found the answer to our homework assignment online.
  19. Congradulations!! I wish you two the best of luck in everything!!

  22. Well if I want to kick it up I do the high protein low carb diet: Breakfast: Blueberries Cottage Cheese Green Tea But usually I just eat the following: Breakfast: 1/2 slice of polish wheat bread toasted farmers cheese spread on bread Slices of tomatoes on top with cummin seeds and salt and pepper 1 small cup of coffee and milk 1 large cup of green tea Sometimes instead of the farmers cheese I use avocado slices
