So I have opted for a fake flower bouquet. When I was trying to put the bouquet together the other night it didn’t look nice. The flowers looked real, but I felt silly holding the bouquet. I guess I am going to shell out the extra bucks for a real bouquet.

They were selling the pillars at Brookstone. I have one and like Jules said they do look real. They flicker and sometimes turn off on their own. It is great! -

That is a really good idea about giving them out as favors. I think I will do that to. On the RSVP card I asked that they put the name of hotel, date, and time. That way I know when eveyone is coming and staying. I am still unsure on what to give them. -
I am super excited to change my last name. Like one of the ladies said it feels like "Family." Don't get me wrong. I love my last name. It has been identity for so long and it is SUPER unique, but non the less I want to change it so that we are Mr. and Mrs. .......

That is really unfortunate that people make comments about other people's rings. I think everyone’s engagement ring is beautiful because it was bought with tons of love. If my ring was just a simple silver band I would still think it was beautiful and I would hope that my peers would respect what I have. Also commenting on the shape....that is rude too! If it is not your style keep it to yourself. -
Those are some really good questions!!! I am currently thinking about booking with Globus. I have never used a TA before when I went on vacation, but I am thinking about using one for my Honeymoon just to make sure everything works out well.

Man! I thought I was the only one who has a family that resents them for not having a local wedding. My friends are excited for us (of course) and my sister (only b/c she loves to travel, but my family is not that excited. My father hates to fly let alone leave the house. My mother is trying to be excited but then she says things that hurt my feeling. My FI and I are trying to get through this. We really want a small wedding, so the less people that come the better. We just want our wedding to be about us and surrounding by people that truly support us. That is wedding should be about.

Have any of you ladies used Globus for your Honeymoons? I found this great package that I am thinking about booking, but I have some concerns about their restrictions. For instance, I will be in Costa Rica a week before the tour starts and departing the same day the tour ends. Can I ask them to book my airfare with all the dates needed? Will this cost extra? I have never used a travel agent/travel package, but I want no worries for my honeymoon.
