But worst case scenario, which rarely happens, the temp can come off and the patient is left with just a post. They'll advise you on how to treat the temp to prevent this. I would make sure that through this process you have your dentist's emergency contact number and possibly a referral to a colleague that works weekends if your dentist doesn't. I don't want to make you paranoid because again it probably won't happen, but I know of people who have lost a temp on a Friday and had to wait until Monday to have a tooth because many dentists don't consider aesthetics emergencies. If they are already in the office on a weekend it's nothing to glue it back on, but very few will come open the office just to do that.

He was trying to pull me out, demanding my room #, etc. Was so glad it was my last day there & would be leaving this am. I am going to lodging a formal complaint with the main office of the RIU, and so is the bride - she was livid!!! Wow!!! That's insane. I don't like hearing this kind of stuff because I love that resort I wonder how she got them to leave her alone, did she just refuse to indulge their harrassment?

I had labels made with our names/a picture of our wedding site/and track listings for the songs. Then I bought a CD stomper and affixed them myself. I bought the white cases from Bliss and put our monogram on them, sealed with thick ribbon. Not sure if I can find a pic but I'll post if I do.

Liquid Diets.....Anybody tried one?

If I even made it a couple of days, I could totally see myself caving after like 12 hours! Oh yeah, it's easy to cave. If you can stick with it the experience is cool. I was at work once and someone asked if I was alright because the whites of my eyes were so white and the blue was so blue...lol You don't realize how much of your body is affected by junk. But I've had unsuccessful attempts, believe me! Ideally you do it until the coating of your tongue goes away as a sign that toxins are eliminated but that can take a long time, that's a future goal, haven't made it yet! Ah dentistry, something I know more about than I care to! Implants are fairly common and take months from start to finish, but the process is really just waiting and there is minimal discomfort. I would agree with Becks that a root canal is probably worse. My mom also just had a few implants done last year, she didn't have any problems at all. I deal with this stuff daily w/work so if I can help or check something out for you email me

What to do with BD pics after you take them?

Sorry if that was nasty I just kinda dont know what to do with them. and I would totally agree about cheking a contract for if and where they can be used. Thanks for saying that because I've thought about the "then what" myself. That has to be what it's for, right? Otherwise it just stays hidden like you never did them. If they are to be used for that purpose I wouldn't want to pay a bundle for a high-quality book that is going to get all...umm...sticky. (ever flipped through a used men's mag? ewww) Maybe you make a good album and a practical version, like with plastic pages for easy cleaning? LMAO! I would like a nice framed print in the bedroom but then you have to be careful who goes in there, God forbid the wrong person gets a gander at your goodies! Like someone said, I guess it's nice to have a "I used to look like this" album for down the line when you aren't at your prime. -
Did you all hear about the baby with two faces?
starchild replied to Christine's topic in Random Thoughts
That's absolutely amazing! Never heard of that but I'm with whoever said she's lucky she's considered a God, because who knows what that family would go through if she was considered an abomination! Christine you've been on top of the current events all week. Keep it up! -
So cute!! You guys age well...hehe You still look good!

Liquid Diets.....Anybody tried one?
starchild replied to twinkletoes's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
I hear you Nikki, good points. Cleansing is totally a mental feat, and it isn't for everyone. With the master cleanse if done right you aren't physically hungry. Mentally, it's a trip! Besides realizing how much food runs your life and is advertised like crazy, your senses sharpen. Sight, hearing, smell, etc. all improve. You have energy like you haven't felt in years. People have cured themselves of serious illnesses through internal cleansing so it's cool to say it's not for you but don't write it off completely for everyone. I agree the body can cleanse itself in theory, but that assumes a particular lifestyle that many people don't lead, so cleanses can be a starting point on the road to wellness. How many of us eat foods made with preservatives & other synthetics? This kind of stuff is toxic (i.e. causes cellular mutation i.e. disease) and does build up in our bodies. Some of these ingredients weren't in our food sources 50 years ago and our bodies haven't evolved that much that fast imo. I'm curious as to what cleanse was featured on Oprah? Not that I don't believe the study, just curious as there are many types of cleanses and results. Don't mean to be preachy because I am no example of health, just sharing what I think I've learned over the years. If it isn't for you it isn't for you, but it may be for someone else -
Post your centerpieces here

Tami those are beautiful and what a great price! Good job!! BTW I can't believe your wedding is so close, my how time flies!! -
Sorry I guess it was one of those things that they didn't know they weren't working until they got them in the mail. I wouldn't be happy with spandex-like material but I'm also not a skinny minnie...lol If it's any consolation, I had to make a last minute BM dress change too. That was what started my nervous breakdown but luckily I snapped out of it fast! What a hassle to have to worry about in the final stretch! I'm not familiar with Canadian stores but my BMs got their last minute dresses from David's Bridal which are all over the U.S. If you aren't opposed, do you have anything like a Target or Macy's there? You can just make them all go and pick a style they agree on, it won't cost much, and they can leave with it same day. Good luck and remember when you want to slap them that it doesn't matter in the end so try to take it in stride

starchild replied to Heidi's topic in Destination Weddings in Jamaica
You were beautiful!!!!! I'm so happy it went well! Btw you got back too fast for me, I'm not done yet but almost...lol I'll be emailing you soon. Welcome back -
Also try Trip Advisor. I'm too lazy to give you a link (lol) but if you search Kauai hotels, when you get the results there are tabs next to where it says hotels - one for B&B's and one for Specialty Lodging. That should help. Also there is a website for Lanier B&B's that lists them worldwide and they are usually really nice. I think it's lanierbb.com. Good luck!
