  1. We did a combo bach. party in Mexico, 2 nights before the wedding. I'm not into the stripper thing either and I thought it would be cool to party in Mexico. At first they were going to be separate parties but we wanted to spend as much time as possible together and didn't want our guests & their dates to have to separate (it was the first night some of them arrived). In the end it was loads of fun and I'm glad we got to share the fun together
  2. Looking at your colors I think a metallic gold pen would look lovely on the dark brown envelopes. I used metallic silver on my dark pink envelopes and it really popped and added a little something special. Have fun!
  3. Ewww, I hate bad service like that. Write a letter to corporate, it won't hurt and if you choose to use AAA again they may even throw a discount or special offer at you. Say how you've been pleased before, recommended them, etc. and now you now you have reservations about using them in the future (pardon the pun...lol). Good luck!
  4. Flashback!! I haven't had an It's-It in years! They are as good as you say. I just assumed they were nationwide but I guess it's a Bay thing?

  7. It's almost time, hang in there! I hope you feel better and get some stuff done.
  8. Sorry...it happens to the best of brides I think it's fine to leave it uneven, but if you really really want even numbers I would ask someone you want to be in your wedding and who won't feel weird that she was a 2nd choice. Good luck and I hope it turns out well

  10. OMG I'm cool with many animals but I detest raccoons (more like fear them)! They are aggressive little buggers, and their hands creep me out...lol We rented a cabin once and this raccoon was like tearing at the screen door trying to get inside. I could do without them Be careful with your little doggies

Yep, ours is an indoor animal too. We've been lucky that in 4 years she's only had 2 "emergencies" - once when she got in a fight with a loose dog in front of our house (she won..lol) and once while we were in PV getting married when she had an anal glad issue. Both times were only a few hundred dollars so it was workable, but I fear the day something expensive happens.
  12. Interesting...our dog is a rescue mix and we are pretty sure she is daschund/beagle but I guess we'll never know...lol I wonder if that affects the policy? I'll look into that, thanks
  13. Congrats on the upcoming wedding and thanks for coming to share what you can about the new resort. We'll be looking forward to your post-wedding review
  14. Yep!! Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) - Dog Insurance, Cat Insurance, Pet Health Insurance

  16. Poor bulldog VPI is what we are thinking of going with too. Gosh my parents spent $10k trying to save their beloved pit bull, sent her to specialists at UC Davis Vet hospital and everything, but to no avail. (r.i.p. Dutchess) I never want to be in that position but we've been lagging and need to get on it!!
  17. Who has insurance policies for their pets? We want to get coverage for our dog before we regret not having it. Anything to look for or avoid, or specific recommendations would be most helpful...thanks
  18. They sound like lovely people, I'm glad you had a good experience
  19. I was wondering what happened with this, great find. I bet it turns out better than it would have been before
  20. #16 is my favorite, I guess the parents missed work too...haha! I'm with BarefootBride stupidity knows no bounds so it's not an Alabama thing, it's a USA thing. They could have replaced that with California and it would have been funny. I laughed! On the flip side you have well educated parents who verge on bizarre. My mom works at a school and the kids have to pick up garbage from their lunch before they can go to recess, and a parent actually called a conference with the principal saying her 9 year old child "respectfully declines to participate in the trash removal"....wtf?
  21. I think it's cute! Is the material cotton or jersey? If it's jersey-like fabric I would caution against spanks because they stick to it (learned that the hard way...lol). You could always add some sparkle or a striking piece of jewlery like the others said but it's pretty and simple as is
  22. I don't know that it matters what color they are. My mom made my bouquet to present and the roses were orange, red, and pink. I went to a wedding once where they were a really pretty blue. I think anything goes.
  23. You sure hid it well, you look like you're having a blast!!! Now that your home and married you can be a baby when you're sick again, it's your husband's duty to care for you...lol
  24. Ooh what fun! Cute place and you looked great! You got some big boxes on your gift table...woohoo! Thanks for sharing - now I'm hungry!!
