  1. Sorry you're going through this stressful stuff! I haven't been through the former marriage experience, just ex bf/gf stuff. I agree to let him be angry, you don't want him sitting on that anger any longer than he already has. Trying to understand this will help you better understand him, and that is essential to your future marriage. Let things play out and if he is open to counseling it won't hurt, but with your support he may be able to work through this without it. Maybe try to reverse the situation and think how seeing your ex-husband after all that would make you feel...he could use a good listener right now. Good luck

They sent somebody in their crew over to ask my sister and I if we knew a good place to hang out after the show so we ended up driving half of them (the rest followed in another car) to a reggae club in Wrigleyville afterwards. Damian was very nice, laid back & humble. Okay I would take back everyone I've ever met to trade places with you that night!!! OMG Damian Marley, he's on the top of my sexy list....yummy
  3. Anyone remember that Chappelle Show sketch about when keeping it real goes wrong? The girl gets a call and the person hung up so she looked up the number and got a map to the caller's house and went over there causing trouble LOL That's what this reminds me of...maybe that's extreme but there are some loons out there so you never know!
  4. Okay mine didn't come up but my parents' did...yikes! I'll pass this on, thanks Shelley!

It's never been recovered. As such, I will never place vital docs in the mail again....(see the wheels of rationalization / justification turning??) I love you I love you I love you, hell yes that makes me feel better! LOL What a bunch of crap you went through, my God! And they told me to mail my license...yeah right!
  6. Ugghh...how lame, almost a year later and I'm just getting around to this. So, today I got up early with my certified marriage license & name change form in tow and went to my local ss office. I got there 30 minutes before it opened just in case there was a line. I parked and didn't even make it out of the car I saw a long line and stopped counting at 21 people! It was really hot and humid already at 8:30 and I just couldn't see myself waiting outside to get in. I went home called the ss people and they said I could send it all by mail, but I have to send my actual driver's license - the plastic card! They'll send it back but is that insane? At this rate I'll never be legal!

His whole entire entourage took up the remaining seats. No wonder why we didn't get upgraded, 50 horded all the freaking seats. LMAO! Okay so you know about the entourage too....sheesh, either he has a lot of friends or a lot of enemies...lol
  8. I love how they've developed Ben & Sayid's future connection. And I want to know what deal Ben and Mr. Whitmore have, what rules they set, why they "can't" kill each other, etc. They sure keep you guessing!

I walk in they both smile, so I smile back and say hello. Then the tall huge man said what's up. I noticed he had gold teeth and it was Master P. I then just smiled and we went down in silence. It just cracked me up. Another favorite, is I had two friends in town from NYC. We went to the Coffee Bean on Sunset and were going to hit up Kitsons. As I was driving down Sunset Blvd. we stopped at a red light and on our right was Ryan Seacrest. He yelled, "Hi ladies!" We yelled back, "Hi, Ryan!". He asked what were we drinking and if he could have some. We just laughed...the light turned green and we drove off. LOL those are funny. I love Ryan, I know he's kind of cheesy but I would love to meet him. How cool that he shouted out to you! You made me remember 2 more - I used to work at a law firm on Sunset and Priscilla Presley came in for a meeting one day. She is so beautiful and was very, very pleasant. Also once I was getting off the elevator at my current job and 50 Cent was walking in with an entourage, seriously he was surrounded by like 8 guys. He was there to record his voice for some video game...I'm not a fan but it was funny to see him escorted like he thought he was the President or something!
  10. I love the wedding in You, Me, and Dupree

I was misbehaving on the street outside of where they were recording once. They joined in the misbehaving for a few then went inside. Record shopping with MCA....no way! What a cool day that was! And I bet we totally misbehaved with the same people, how random is that? I knew I liked you...LOL
  12. I just checked the site, that is beautiful! I think you would need like 6 of the push lights per table to get that glow! LOL
  13. Hmm I don't know. Are they colored lights or regular? I'm thinking you could use those round battery operated lights you push on and off...they used to sell them in infomercials but I've seen them at dollar stores over the years. Not sure if that's what you mean but it would work and be cordless.
  14. Bummer about your sister, I'm glad you are understanding of the situation...sometimes things just happen like that. However it turns out it will be lovely but I know it's disappointing right now
  15. Aww, congrats! Sounds like a great day and what a bargain for such a beautiful place
  16. Oh, cool! I'm sure it was amazing, be sure to come back and share
  17. Karen your story is awesome, that's almost better than "meeting" him...a true fan moment, you know? Cool! I met was Dave Winfield (Yankee) when I was like 5 and I got my picture in the newspaper with him at a signing...woohoo! I met Jaclyn Smith who was super nice and 10 minutes later I met Meryl Streep who was kind of mean and wouldn't give me an autograph (keep in mind I was like 10 so I was genuinely hurt LOL). I made small talk with Keenan Ivory Wayans at a taping of his talk show (the show didn't last long) and he was cordial. Some of you may recall my crazy encounter with Daniel Baldwin...he thought I was in danger at this taco shop (he was totally on drugs) and was prepared to protect me...haha We ended up eating with him, he was actually a cool guy. I wrote a thread about it here awhile ago. Those are probably the most famous. When I first moved to L.A. we met some Wu Tang Clan members at a concert and ended up hanging out with them for a few months while they were out here working on an album (gotta love being young...lol). The ones we hung with were exceptionally nice, looking back it was borderline strange how cool they were because at the time they were very popular and we weren't putting out - lmao! We used to go to the studio with them or go get the house keys from them at the studio and hang out at their spot until they got there. Either someone would cook or we would order food and talk music or watch cartoons haha. It was crazy listening to the album later and thinking "I was there when he wrote that" or whatever. It was a fun time. A girlfriend of mine in college dated this A&R dude and she used to take me with her when he came to town from NY. Once we were swimming & Slick Rick arrived. I'm an old school hip-hop fan so that was huge to me. He and his wife came over and he was like "Hi, I'm Rick"....I wanted to say "No shit, you're wearing the freakin eye patch!" but I just said nice to meet you LOL Anyway, I met him, his wife, and Doug E. Fresh a few more times and they are really nice. The guy worked for Def Jam so he was always with artists like LL Cool J, DMX, Dru Hill, etc. Everyone was very nice & polite except for DMX who was as abrasive as you would think, hate to say it but it was true then. And he really talked like he raps, it was pretty funny Oooh and once we were leaving their hotel and they were filming 90210 in the lobby...I was like 5 feet from Brandon & Dylan - they are short and skinny but really cute! Okay last story, I was at Rick James' funeral (lol I know) and there were all kinds of celebrities around but I didn't "meet" them. Jamie Foxx, Charlie Murphy, Teena Marie, Ron Jeremy, Chaka Khan, etc. The funeral was 4 hours long and like a party, it was really fun.
  18. Okay I didn't do either but it's up to you and how important your chosen style is. I had a BM do makeup because she used to do it professionally so I trusted it would turn out well. Hair I wanted simple and it turned out fine. If you have a specific look in mind and are nervous about it then a trial wouldn't hurt.
  19. How awful that I can't recall! I'll have to watch the video...lol I *think* we had dinner and did some dancing before the cake cutting....but I just don't remember. There wasn't a special song just whatever was playing already. I guess that means it's not a big deal so I say do it when you want
  20. Disgusting. Was the wife heavily medicated or something? How do you not go to your own basement for all those years, let alone not notice your husband disappearing to have sex and feed the offspring on a regular basis? Just awful, I only wish he lives long enough to suffer. What a sicko!

  22. In addition to what was said, I remember drinking bottles of Negro Modelo in the room...not sure if they came out of the fridge or in with room service, but we didn't bring them...lol
  23. Mo thanks for clarifying, well said. And his daughter is just precious
