It's like she's under a spell....you know how you date a guy and he is like the best dude ever and your smitten for a few months, but then the real guy emerges and he is a jackass with 3 other chicks on speed dial and you wish you could erase the day you met - that's how I fear this will go. And shame on Brat for not knocking some sense into her! Some BFF she is! -

Ooh thanks! I don't buy mags really so I was waiting for someone to have this at work...lol Now I'm going to read it! She looks good, simple dress, simple everything...it's nice. They certainly look happy, shoot I'd be happy to marry Mariah I believe in love at first sight, although I think it very rare, I hope that's really what they have. I've read some not-so-flattering things about him and women but let's hope it's not true. -
On page 248 and I'm really liking it...probably will finish it today. When will the discussion start?

Aren't they crafty? It happened to us on our first trip down, we slipped up and said "Oh great, we should be on your list our names are..." and the guy glanced and said "Yes, you are here". NOT! Now I look at the list myself and find my own name...lol Glad you weren't detained long! Whilst we were eating they sent a medic with oxygen up and more Dramamine for the ride home. Yikes! I believe it, the ride can be brutal yet there are always people who say nobody got sick on the ride over. I guess it's the luck of the draw, we had a few sick guests on the way to our wedding there, but I believe none of them took the motion sickness meds. I hope you found that the boat crew treated them well, I've been sick on their boats before and they were very attentive. Thanks for sharing the review & pics, everything looks great!

Welcome to the forum

This is the only forum I've ever joined and I was very hesitant, I only did so at the urging of my WC swearing that there was another Caletas bride here...lol Forums can be brutal though, once I googled tattoos and came across a tattoo forum and dear Lord those people were mean! It was like a big put-eachother-down competition and you could tell who the "click" was that ran it because all of their posts sounded the same. It was funny to read, I must admit, but why join a forum to fight 24/7?

My guests reported that it was extremely confusing the day of the wedding when they arrived at the marina. I didn't have transportation arranged for them because Nicole said for my small group it would be cheapest and easiest for them to just take taxis there. Anyways, we ended up having a couple miss the boat because they were confused where to go. They stayed at a separate hotel so they weren't with the larger group. My dad said they arrived at the marina they didn't know where to go. The taxi just dropped them off on the street so they didn't know how to get into the marina and the port tax place was closed. They weren't sure where to go and they were just kinda standing there. He said they would have been lost but thankfully Brad, the minister, walked up to them and asked if they were the wedding group. He showed them the way to the boat. I later talked to the couple that missed the boat and they clearly were way off base. I'm not sure how it happened but they saw the boat go by and realized that they missed the boat. Just wanted to put that out there, because I didn't provide my guests with any information other than show up to the marina. I didn't know what else to tell them (or even that more information was needed). We didn't arrange transportation either. We gave them their port entry tickets the night before at the WD. We told guests in our welcome portfolio in the OOT bags (and again at the WD) that when they arrived they should enter the turnstyle and proceed to the Vallarta Adventures booth to the right. We said to tell the people behind the counter that they are there for the wedding and take directions from them. There weren't any problems, other than the fact that the President of MX was at the port for the Navy Anniversary so everything was shut down and delayed, and my poor guests had to wait like an extra 45 minutes outside of the gates in the killer heat...and then go through a checkpoint...that sucked. Nicole was mad that MX officials told them like the day before, and she had a wedding the night before ours that had to be moved up several hours early last minute because no boats could come or go that night - talk about stress! It worked out though!! Usually someone is at the VA booth during operating hours so I'd suggest for future brides to have your guests start there or look for other guests or boats that say Vallarta Adventures, it's a pretty small area so if they know what to look for they should be okay. You could also assign a responsible guest the task of holding a sign or rounding up strays - my mom was going to do this but our group was small and everyone recognized each other from the WD.

That's the best reason to gain weight, congrats!!! -
I've only been on a week long European cruise which was on a river (which was awesome) but that's a little different. Recently we looked into this as well and I strongly recommend visiting Cruise Critic - Cruises, Cruise Ship Reviews, Ratings, Cruise Deals, Cruise Forums It's like BDW but only cruise info. Also my TA said that Norweigan and one other (I think Celebrity?) are the only moderately priced cruise lines that offer you flexibility to eat when you want and not have to be assigned a time and a table with strangers...to us that's important because on vacation we like to be alone, not making small talk with Tom from Tacoma (I think we're a bit anti-social...lol) Have fun planning!

Cool! I got my wedding jewelry for a bargain at Macy's last year around this time, must have been the mother's day sale too -

Welcome, I married at LC too, you'll love in! Have fun on your site visit, for real traditional Mexican try El Repollo Rojo (a.k.a. Red Cabbage Cafe). My WC also highly recommended El Arrayan and I've heard good things about Pipi's. Have fun!

That's just not fair One of the few benefits of renting is that you don't have to pay for the repairs, but still what a p.i.t.a.! I hope you get a relaxing bath soon -

Anyone else have a neighbor from hell?
starchild replied to BePhoto's topic in Just venting or funnies
That's just awful! He has some kind of prejudice against dogs, or something about you that he doesn't like - people are weird!! It could be something totally normal about you guys that he hates, like your wife works for lawyers, or your car is blue, anything random like that makes unhappy nutjobs go off the deep end. I hope you fight this tooth and nail...and sue him for all this drama he's causing! Good luck -
Road trips are cool! Happy moving and you can read your book along the way, I just got mine

Tammy this is a sweet offer/contest....good luck everyone
