  10. I'm bumping this for you so maybe other girls with good ideas can respond. It is okay to not go all out right now since you are in wedding budget mode. Just have dinner, and if going out is too expensive have dinner at home with candles and the romantic vibe. What about a nice walk or putting on some music and dancing? The idea is to be together and it doesn't have to cost a lot of money. Have fun!
  11. I think this is common DW stuff. If you aren't close with the family do you really think they will be upset that they aren't invited? And do you think they would go if they were invited? I had a co-worker approach me about being sad that she wasn't invited and I handled it by saying we were having a "small wedding with close family and friends". That's it. I know family is different than a co-worker but if you aren't close its sort of the same thing. As for the AHR don't have one just because you feel you are supposed to have one. If you just don't want to be bothered, or if money is an issue, then just don't do it. If you want to do it as a way to include the uninvited then I would just have one and whoever can make it can make it. I don't think having 3 makes you look selfish but if anything it seems like a pain in the neck! Good luck!
  12. Ahhhh this is the most difficult yet! Since I only have one vote I'm going with #6 - Moments That Matter. I feel like I'm in the ttc session with them. Love.
  13. This is tough. I'm going with #1, del Sol. The rings and the smoke capture a memorable part of the ceremony. And its just a really cool picture!
  14. #8 for me, its just really fun. But WOW to them all!

  18. Hi! I think a lot of your questions really vary by resort, i.e. I've stayed at AI resorts where there is always a bar open and also where the bars close for the night. I would check out the ones that you are interested in and see which ones offer what you want. Here are some general threads on Mexico resorts: Cabo Wedding Forum | Cabo Wedding Resort Reviews Cancun/Riviera Maya Wedding Forum | Cancun/Riviera Maya Wedding Resort Reviews Puerto Vallarta Wedding Forum | Puerto Vallarta Wedding Resort Reviews Also, do you have a travel agent? A TA can do a lot of the leg work for you if you in terms of finding a resort to meet your needs and booking for you. We have BDW travel agents who specialize in destination weddings. You can contact them HERE! Happy planning!
  19. Himalayan, I notice you are asking this question in multiple threads and we all suggest consulting a travel agent because that's probably the best option. We certainly cannot secure rates or do anything other than say what we think a resort may be, but that won't help you. You have very specific requests and limitations. Consulting someone who books travel professionally is really the way to go, especially someone who books destination wedding travel for a living. I suggest consulting one, seeing which resorts would fit your needs, and deciding from there.
  20. Hi, I just posted in your other thread but a travel agent is the best person to quote you rates. If you don't have one try contacting one of ours. They are very experienced with booking destination weddings. You can contact them HERE! Also, you can read some reviews here: Wright Travel Agency ~ Destination Wedding Specialist Reviews HERE
  21. Hi, welcome to BDW. That sounds like something a travel agent can best assist you with. You might want to try one of the BDW Travel Agents. They Specialize in Destination weddings. You can contact them HERE!
