Dang you guys sorry it's so unpleasant in your neck of the woods. Drink lots of water and use that sunscreen! I think the South gets it the worst, but I can't lie in L.A. it's hot and sticky like you describe all summer. Our first apartment had no AC and we used to sleep on the balcony with no covers because it was so hot at night...haha You get used to it and come to embrace it, it's summer!!!

My 3 suggestions: 1. For piece of mind, stay on the ground in your own vehicle/RV. You'll want to be there in an emergency, and you'll want the option of being able to stop and take care of things as needed. In a train/bus/plane you can't do that. Don't think of the travel time, think of the tales of adventure you can share down the line 2. Contact as many charities as possible and plead your case. Are you guys (or your families) affiliated with any churches? They have money or can collect some for you. 3. Speak to your employer. I know you are independant contractors - but were it not for them having you work OOT so late in your pregnancy you would not be stuck in CA with the baby. You and Paul have been working there for years, right? They may just kick you down some money and right now you can't afford not to ask...good luck!

Oh, I see. My gf has parents like that too...if she won the nobel prize they would complain about having to go the the ceremony LOL (and they probably wouldn't go). I'm sorry and there's nothing you can really do to change their behavior, you know your parents. All I can suggest is focusing on your FI and the reason you are going because sadly thinking about your parents will bring you down. Hang in there!

Well I thought I picked based on who would make press...so far Angelina is doing fabulously but my others are lagging bigtime, and Jamie Spears is dead weight at this point. But if I know a Spears girl they don't stay under the radar for long so I'm holding on to her just in case
