Makeup, Bare Escentials is ok, however, NOT their skincare line. Not the same as Bare Minerals or other mineral makeup either. There are lots of websites out there that are all run by independent groups and if you read enough of them we wouldn't be able to use anything on ourselves! Aveda, Origins...yes we are both plant-based but not all-natural (neither is anyone else I'd like to point out) in the Prestige brand world. The difference between us and co like MAC, clinique, etc., is that the preservatives are not your typical cosmetic co preservatives. We both use food-preservatives. This means if you eat boxed foods like cereal or Mac and Cheese, frozen foods, like Lean Cuisine that are not all-natural, you already consume these. Origins uses wind energy in all of our corporate offices, stores, and manufacturing facilities, we use recycled packaging, papertowels, and non-chemical cleaning supplies. We also offer FREE FACIALS and makeup! I've Bridal party makeup every Saturday for the last 6 weeks on the day of their weddings and all for FREE!! There's nothing better than doing a brides makeup on her wedding day and helping to bring out her natural beauty! Hope this helps! Good to know, thanks! The free make-up job really stuck out for me! 6. It's totally like a slush puppy - if slush puppies in England mean the same thing they do in the U.S. ? See:
  7. Look no further, there are a lot of great brides here having amazing DW's this summer!
  8. I love slurpees and haven't had one in years! Cherry coke used to be my favorite, I wonder if they still make those?

  10. Alright, another BDW wedding today!! Enjoy celebrating your love
  11. No way, today? Congrats girlie, I know it will be awesome!!!
  12. Boy, these stories never get old! It seems most of us go through this kind of situation. I don't know that you're being too harsh...you are in a unique position where there is only 1 flight a week, right? Much different from my case where there were several flights a day so I let my wedding party lag. In the end some didn't make it for various reasons but there were still flights available days before the wedding...one of my guests booked one the same day she left! My optimistic side says he'll make it by the skin of his teeth. My jaded side says he's not coming. He means well and probably has convinced himself that he and his 3 girls will make it, but they won't. Plan on him not being there and if he miraculously pops up then look for flying pigs. LOL sorry but I've sooooo been through this and bottomline people will always disappoint!
  13. That website has to be another name for Customized Girl. Anyone used them before? The products/layout is the same. Great deal though!
  14. You can also click on your user name and it will give you an option to see all posts by the user.
  15. Heck no you don't! How many of us even knew what an AHR was before we started the whole DW process? Anyone who complains that there isn't one should have gone to your DW and need to get over themselves...to put it mildly
  16. haha congratulations!

  21. I think it is natural to feel like you do in this case. Maybe there is more to it, like perhaps she (or her husband) didn't want to go to Jamaica but she didn't want to say it. Maybe they've heard bad stories, or like Kristy said to some people the thought of going so far is frightening, Florida isn't too far so maybe that's okay with her. I don't know if that's the case but I'm just trying to make sense of it.
