  1. I just saw an ad for this, they claim it's more effective than Proactive, you call them and they customize a regimen for you: Acne Treatment Solutions – Neutrogena skin iD
  2. Wow, that came out great! I know how important this is to you guys and I'm glad it worked out so well

  4. Mmmm...there is this little place that makes the best candy apples. Huge & perfect granny smith apples dipped in caramel and covered in white chocolate with pecans - omg I need one NOW! I like to think the apple makes it a teeny bit healthy
  5. Mood: Go Getter Fun: Escape Artist Habits: Back to Basics Social: Relaxed that was fun

  7. Now that's how you make friends in high places f-a-s-t! LOL J/K...that's nice of you to say. Everyone here is great and really cares about BDW. Welcome!
  8. You're so pretty Maura, I love them! What a great location, is this our first Westin Cabo wedding? It's a beautiful place and it's nice to see another cool resort in Cabo. BTW your priest's vestments were quite snazzy lol Nice! It looks like a great day
  9. I'm super late to this but I think that's too much money also. IMO that's a waste of a University course, if you have to pay that much take something else that is unique to your college. The 2 courses you need to graduate - are they just electives? If so I would look for a community college that offers online courses, maybe a business course or something that could be useful. In CA a community college a course of any kind would be About 2 months ago DH enrolled me in an online TA program as a surprise (moving towards working from home & he is always saying I should be a TA so he set me up!). It's been super easy to do when I'm bored, in fact you just reminded me that I have a test to take LOL Anyway the point is he paid way less than that for an entire program from TA 101 to courses on software & how to start your own agency, not just 2 modules. Google what you're looking for and check w/CLIA like TA Dina mentioned and I bet you find something inexpensive.
  10. Safe journey Kate. I'm happy the arrangments worked out
  11. Kate that does blow My condolances to you both and I'm glad you just got to see him.
  12. Sorry, you shouldn't feel stressed at this time! I say tell her w/ FI that you want a small wedding and that's that. She can throw a pig roast or whatever for all of her friends at an AHR but this is not her gig, you know? It's tough but you have to take a stand now or she'll think she can dictate for the rest of your married lives. She can get mad if she wants but don't let her change your vision. Good luck!!
  13. I say don't worry. I had someone older with bad knees (in a knee brace) and she was fine. She took her time but it wasn't a problem, they even brought a high-backed chair to the sand for her so she could get up/down easier than in the slingback chairs
  14. hahahahahahaha that is genius! I think I'm immature too, and I think that preacher is on something
  15. Ouch! I'm not sure what to do but my first thought is to moisturize too. I changed the title for you
  16. No way! Too funny that you just made this - we're having a tapas luncheon tomorrow and I'm serving gazpacho shooters! I just came back from the store and I'm making it today. I'm using a different recipe but yours sounds yummy
  17. I totally loved it too! I laughed and cried, it was a great read. It's amazing how much tradition is a part of every aspect of their lives. Can you imagine having to cater to your MIL and place her above your children? Or having to stay up in the women's area? Wow! In 9th grade I first learned of the foot-binding process and it is almost unreal to imagine the pain they went through! I don't want to post pics here but if anyone wants to see what the book described so vividly here are some pics. I googled this as I was reading to get an idea of what happens and you can see how sick it is... More Cool Pictures: Foot Binding (Warning:graphic) Oh, and I love the old same idea too! Crazy how the tables turned as they grew up, right? Snow Flower's MIL was a beast!
  18. That's sweet of you! And I hope you don't disappear after your wedding because I enjoy picking up your slang! I'm going to say 'bloody hell' all day today lmao!!
  19. Everything looks great and ready to go! Nice work!!
  20. Welcome! Make sure to check out the PV section because I've seen review on some of the places you mentioned. Happy planning
  21. Rachel how funny you went there! I was there like 10 years ago. Good point about the privacy. When I was there it was sunset and a vendor walked up to the table we were eating at and offered to braid my hair. I said yes and they did it right there...lol It took a few hours but the Burros staff was really cool about it and they didn't make us leave. Yay, glad I sort of helped you guys. If you're picky eaters this place will work for you (well if you like Mexican food..haha). I can't find the exact menu they sent me but I believe it was fajitas, chips, guac, etc. It's basic food, in fact I think all 3 menu options were fajitas lol. They were getting a little crazy with the price for toppings and we threatened to walk and suddenly they were free, so negotiate away. Sadly for them we walked anyway but it wasn't completely their fault.
