  1. No problem, I hope you find what you are looking for. There are a lot of options in PV
  2. I was so sad to hear this but it seems they are open again? Thank goodness because I love that place! Cindy, search the PV section and also the Las Caletas thread for welcome dinner recommendations & reviews. We held ours at Barcelona and it came out to more than $30pp but I also got a quote from Burros Bar that was around $20, and I know Yari found a super bargain Mexican restauraunt that she loved but I forget the name.
  3. Just beautiful, Jenny! Love the pic of you getting out of the car. Congrats again
  4. Kris you get major points for doing it your way...good for you!! Our wedding party was barefoot, men included. It felt good and was one less thing for everyone to buy. Ours was at 6pm and the sand was not hot.
  5. I don't think it is rude and obviously a specific date would follow so as a guest it would be a nice general heads up and something to consider until a date is set and I could say for sure. Plus, I think many of us can say that even when a date was set on the STD we had people who said they would go but ended up not being able to attend so setting a date far in advance won't make or break it. People who wouldn't miss it for the world will go whether it's March 1st or March 31st. There's nothing wrong with it in my opinion, just follow up as soon as you know the plans
  6. I'm a Raider fan and since you watch football you know our status The Steelers are my 2nd favorite team and Ward is my favorite NFL player so.....GO STEELERS!!! (although I think it would be cool if AZ won because they pretty much never do, but my heart is with Pittsburg!)
  7. Welcome to the forum, Lea!
  8. Wow that's beautiful!!! I'm officially missing PV right now, awww.... Thanks for taking and posting pics. Looks like an ideal spot to gather for an intimate group dinner. Very cool!
  9. What unique maracas! The detail on the handles is awesome (and great work by Sarah as well)!
  10. I just came from Macy's and dh was with me so I got 2 things They were out of what I would have preferred but I got the estee lauder night repair serum and clinique moisture gel like Erika. Free is free so I'm not complaining!
  11. Sounds like a wonderful place and very reasonable too, cool! Can't wait to see some pictures
  12. What??! How cool! I love Joey's statement...John Mayer did it so back off haters! lol
  13. I went through something similar and all I can suggest is to roll with the punches as your date approaches. It's frustrating and not fair, but it is what it is. I didn't even re-do the programs and it really didn't matter. I didn't miss the missing BM on my wedding day...at all. It's okay to be upset right now but you will see in the end that it won't matter and your wedding day will be amazing with or without her. Hang in there!
  14. As a bride I also wouldn't care if my niece's party was the day before. In fact, I would probably be glad that my guests who came to town had something fun to do that I didn't have to orchestrate!

LOL I totally understand! One of my gf's was looking into a DW but they called off the engagement and I may have been more upset than she was lol Quote: Originally Posted by TA Lindsay Tara, I've considered that several times as well - it would be a blast! DH and I plan on going back to LC at least twice while we are there (during the day and at night!) I was considering doing a vow renewal for our 3rd anniversary while we are there (just DH and I) but I'm not sure yet....have to think on it some more... Lindsay 2010 will roll around before you know it...lucky!
  16. Beautiful work, best of luck with this venture. I'm sure you will be very successful
  17. I got a Kindle as a Christmas gift and wasn't sure that I would like it because I like the feel and smell of books. It turns out that I really like it. I hope the next version has a light but other than that I like the screen and there are lots of titles available. Not sure what Sony's does but the Kindle has other features that I didn't know about like internet access (not just for downloading books) and the ask amazon thing where you ask a question about anything and they answer you back. If you read a lot or read a few books at a time like I do it is handy to take everything on the go in a small package. You can also get daily newspapers delivered to your Kindle.

  19. I put the ceremony start time on the invite then inundated guests with separate info on the time to be at the marina
  20. I was in a focus group recently about hair care and tourmaline is supposed to be the end all be all right now so that dryer seems right in line with what they were saying. For $125 it may be worth the try.
  21. I have a purple Remington Vortex with a detachable diffuser that I've had for like 5 years. I don't use it often but it works for me. I think it was like $30...quite inferior to the one you listed. That one must kick ass!
