  1. That's hot!!!!! I love the wet hair - how fun! Can't wait to see the rest )
  2. Ann I think they look very nice as is. If you have time and feel like it you can play with ribbon colors to see if you like something else better, but I say they are 100% ready to go. Nice job!
  3. Congrats on the switch! You don't sound petty, a lot of people wouldn't want to spend their wedding/honeymoon where their significant other romanced someone else. Now Jamaica will be your place, how exciting!
  4. FYI, they sent me a coupon for 15% off if you order by June 30th Enter this code for the discount: SU15 Happy designing!
  5. Don't give up yet. I agree that most guests won't stay 7 nights so that will cut the price down a lot. Check Pleasant Holidays - Vacations & Vacation Packages - Travel Destinations | Pleasant Holidays They allow free payment plans that might make it more workable for some guests - maybe you too. You only pay $150 pp down to reserve the trip. There are no set repayment terms so they can pay weekly, monthly, or whenever they want for how much they want just as long as the balance is paid 30 days prior to departure. Most importantly have your wedding where you want it!!!
  6. Pray!!!!!!! And bring every type of tampon and pad you can find so you don't lack anything. That stinks, but look at the bright side - you aren't pregnant so you can drink like a sailor - woo hoo!
  7. You better come back and spill the beans once it's done, you got a girl super curious over here!!
  8. Oops I'm super late, but for what it's worth I've stayed here: Paris: Very pretty and comfortable, pool kind of sucks as it is a big circle that's like 3 feet all the way around, love the casino with the painted sky ceiling and cobblestone paths, very cute Plaza Hotel: Very economical, stayed there for a wedding once. At the foot of Fremont street, nothing fancy, barely tolerable rooms, location is good for exploring the Fremont St. Experience where things are cheaper, wouldn't recommend it unless you won't be in the room much Four Seasons: Highly recommended, awesome bathrooms & tub will fit two, great location/views of the strip, very luxurious as you would expect from a Four Seasons That's my 2 cents )
  9. You sure are keeping us interested, your plans keep getting better LMAO! Wow Drea that is awesome, isn't it cool how things work out? But now whose wedding am I going to crash in S.F. this labor day? You just go to your courthouse and turn in the form, in L.A. you can print it online and bring it ready to go. The fee here is $70 and the marriage license is valid for 90 days, meaning the ceremony must be performed within 90 days of getting the license. If your Cabo marriage will be legal I'm not sure what the process is, but otherwise you can have a legal civil ceremony at your courthouse, that was $25 in L.A. Oh, found it, here's yours: Orange County Clerk-Recorder
  10. Kelly, yes they did. After a few weeks of not speaking to each other they spoke and agreed to not talk about this and let it go. The things they don't like about each other aren't resolved but they are not getting in the way either. It's one of those "that's how she is" things, take it or leave it. We all hung out at my bach slumber party last month and as suspected, jumbo margaritas solved it all. Then K got a girlfriend to go with her & share the costs - a friend I don't know. I hear M and this friend don't get along but whatever....maybe I'll have a juicy story to share in a few weeks. My bach party is in Mexico and when you factor in alcohol, if these 2 don't get along this could get interesting ) Thanks for asking
  11. YAY!! Enjoy your wedding and come back to share. Hawaii has the best weather and always photographs well, your pics will be amazing!!

I ordered 7. You create a free account & they have online proofing so it's fun to play with colors/styles/pics. This was one of the most fun wedding planning things I did honestly. Normal price was like $17.99 but when I designed then and saved them they were on sale for $9.99. I designed like 12 different shirts and here is the coolest part - like 3 weeks later when I decided on these the sale was off but since I saved them at that sale price I was still able to order them for $9.99 instead of $18. They always have one or two sale shirts so if you see one on sale you love, design it and save it in case you want it later. They even have panties, skirts, you name it. Awesome quality too, have fun!!! CustomizedGirl - Custom T-Shirt Design Quote: Originally Posted by Nrvsbride Jamy if I crash your wedding do I get a t-shirt too? B/c they are really cute. Aww, I don't have extras because I only ordered enough and they take like 2 weeks to make so I don't have time to order more. BUT, if you crash my wedding I'll make you one when I get back and ship it to NY. Come on down, the more the merrier in our family )

My Fiance had been pushing the wedding in that direction and I finally realized it was a great idea. Now I am very happy to be doing it in Tahoe and so very glad I found this group because I sure would have missed a few details! Happy planning and it will be awesome to see your pics when it's all said and done )
  14. Yes we do!!! We're all frantic this weekend....I'll have a shot at home for you ladies while I'm getting ready this weekend and we can regroup in a few weeks )
  15. Cool...it shall remain a secret. Maybe I will roll them up like a little scroll...hmm if I get it together maybe I'll buy something pretty to display them on and have someone carry them down the aisle and place them on the alter until we need them. Jen, I'm going from Mexico to Ocho Rios so I get back home June 12th or 13th I think...we have to share for sure! We're almost there!!!
  16. Yep, I got my brother some for his b-day and he says they are super comfortable too.
  17. Alrighty then, let's try this another time. I think everyone is too busy right now so I didn't make reservations. We'll make it happen eventually ) Many of us will be wives by then so we can share pictures, it will be cool.
  18. Has anyone seen this map? I feel like I hit the jackpot for finding it LOL I just emailed it to my bm's so they can see where we'll be spending the day and they are so amped! #12 is where the reception is and the weddings are on the sand beneath it - I can barely contain myself anymore For some reason I can't attach it, but go here and click on "see map" under the Las Caletas description box on the right: Puerto Vallarta Jungle Beach Hideaway - Las Caletas
  19. I know some of you wrote or will write your own vows for the wedding. We've been so busy at this rate it looks like we'll be writing ours on the flight to P.V. - seriously! So are we supposed to hide them from each other until the ceremony or did any of you share them in advance? We'll be sitting 5 inches apart and we're both so nosey that when we are through we'll want to share. After 7 years they won't be revelations so we aren't sure it needs to be a surprise. We tend to be rule-breakers anyways, but is there an etiquette for vows? And, can we have a cheat sheet for the ceremony? If so, who holds on to that? FI has pockets but I don't.
  20. I just think it's awesome that you are getting married in Tahoe. I love it there it is very beautiful...are you originally from CA? I notice you are in MN, just curious how you picked Tahoe, I didn't think it was well known out of state. The other ladies have great ideas! You can personalize so much these days, like they said coffee mugs, candles, matches, cards, hats. You'll have fun with it since you aren't limited to beach stuff!

I think I'll email him one last time since the wedding is like next week! He probably uses the same stuff opnly changing the names? That's what I think, lol
  22. Bare Escentuals a.k.a. Bare Minerals. I too have very sensitive skin (can't get facials, can't wear scented facial moisterizer). This is the only makeup that doesn't irritate me, even if I fall asleep in it. Granted I don't wear makeup daily but when I do this stuff is super gentle and looks amazing. They make all sorts of products. Bare Escentuals - Natural Cosmetics for the Body and Face
