  1. Bienvenidos y felicidades! We are all here to help )
  2. We honeymooned in Ochi and it is amazing, congratulations on the wedding....one love )
  3. I don't wear makeup now but in high school I used to swear by MAC lipliners.....I think my fav color was spice? It's very neutral. I know we have some MAC girls here who can help you out.

So, with no more ado, here are my very simple invitations!! I am going to add colored paper as a 1/4" border around the invite. Probably green - but I'm still figuring part that out! Oh, and also my RSVP postcards - what do you think?? So pretty, both of them. You've got the right idea - keep it simple and spend your money on what you want to. Everything doesn't have to cost a small fortune!
  5. Wow Susan I'm soooooo relieved you found it...what a story!
  6. Hell no......I just saw your siggy, that is the cutest!!!!! Love it )
  7. Alright Lawrence! Another strawberry shortcake )
  8. Janet I asked a few people to check my teeth on my wedding day...too funny! And I would have been sooooo irked if my MIL pulled a stunt like that, it's awesome that your irritation is captured on film! Did she ever comment on that picture?
  9. Welcome to my world! My third (that's right 3rd) wedding is in September. 1st was at the courthouse here in L.A. with just 4 people and we went for sopes and beer after....yum. The 2nd and major wedding was in Mexico, and the 3rd will be a church blessing - also a DW of sorts - we just set the date and booked those flights so it's official. In our family you can't do anything without everyone wanting bring food, so the original idea of church then going to dinner was scratched. My parents have a lovely backyard so we are now going to decorate it fiesta style and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more people there than at our Mexican wedding. So far, one friend in New York and one in New Orleans have bought tickets to fly to the 3rd wedding....and they were in Mexico for the 2nd. It's the never ending wedding.....but we aren't the type to turn down a good party so we're amped about the whole thing....lol!
  10. Get a few people you trust to pack some of your items. We flew to visit our family a month before the wedding and took a bunch of stuff to my mom, moh, & a bm. It took a little burden off of us in the end...although if any of their luggage had been lost we would have been a little screwed LOL.
  11. You'd be surprised how much you can fit without going over. None of ours came in over 50 pounds each, the closest came to 46. Another bonus about bringing stuff down is that you have an empty piece of luggage to stuff with souveniers on the way home )
  12. Hilarious!! I've totally done that to myself before, at least you had a professional do it. Good times! It just adds to the memories
  13. Very cool Ann. I love your expression during the petal toss recessional....it looks like you lost some down your gown...lmao!! Thanks for sharing, very pretty!
  14. Save the money! We didn't have an ipod but we made discs clearly labeled (processional, recessional, cocktail hour, dinner, reception disc 1, reception disc 2, last dance). Someone my WC delegated was in charge of changing discs. I saw my WC do it once as well. I'm not familiar with ipods, but ask your WC if they can take charge of that, I probably wouldn't want to ask a guest either.
  15. Thought I'd post some pics from a friend who stayed here while in PV for our wedding.
  16. Ah-ha! PV Mirror (a Vallarta online mag) still has some excerpts of the book online. Puerto Vallarta & Banderas Bay - Vallarta Memories - PVMirror.com Travel Magazine PV Mirror has great info in general, you can read local news and stuff. I don't know if these work for your project but they are cool to look at: The Parish of Holy Lady mary of Guadalupe when father Parra initially took over the vicarship 1943 Among a group of local ladies, are from left to rigth. 17. If found this 1969 pic online of the Camino Real and it makes me crack up! Note the speedo . . .
  18. Hey ladies, I'm just reviving this thread. Now that Kash, Jen, & I are married, I think we're just waiting for Drea. When she gets back let's plan a dinner or BBQ or something festive )
