  1. JJ Fad's red record.....now that's a flashback!! I used to have to whisper freaks as in "the p is for perfection and you know that we are freaks" LMAO!! And records...those are flashbacks too - ha! I so got the fake Keds too, in all the colors, I even had a floral pair, lol. Scrunchie socks takes me back too I never had the Kappas but I know exactly what you're talking about - the ads were in all the Seventeen magazines, lol.
  2. Love your pics, your dress and hair, everything really came together beautifully. Love love love the pic of the new Wades, lol. And, of course, the upside down shots were hella cool
  3. Great review Drea!! It sounds like you had your paradise destination wedding after all. So happy for you both )
  4. I just came across this site. They have some inexpensive casual/vintage style dresses. Illuna Fashion Online Boutique - 2007 2006 Bridal Gowns Prom Dresses Evening Dresses Designer Red Carpet Styles
  5. I'm really no help but for what it's worth, I stayed at the RIU in June and it's adjacent to the dunn's river sandals, those are the only 2 resorts in that stretch of beach. The 2 are separated by a rock wall and Sandal's beach is small but still beautiful. It makes sense that you said it is adults only, I didn't know that at the time, but it sounded like they we're having a rocking good time, lol. This restaurant at the RIU (plantation) is next to the dividing wall and there was good music playing on the other side and people sounded like it was so much fun, we wanted to look, lol. I also remember seeing a lot of people on the balconies at Sandals eating breakfast in the morning....that's a nice touch. If you look at my siggy pic Sandals is to the right - the water is gorgeous. I'll see if I have any pics of Sandals in my album. I hope another Sandals bride pops up for ya!
  6. Alaska Airlines was the best! They put my dress in the empty first class closet, announced us to the whole plane, gave us free champagne, and went around and got advice from married couples then announced it on the PA.....it was above what we expected for sure!! If you call they'll say it's on a space available basis, but if the closets are full you can still carry it on, you'll just have to lay it flat in the overhead which isn't a big problem.

And yes you're right, invisible to you would be impossible but maybe not to a stranger passing by...lol

So, it may look a little odd to have 5 ringbearers...oh well! That's how we felt, go ahead and have your big fat DW party...we did, lol.
  9. They aren't needed but if you had some people in mind and wanted to use them as ushers it would be a lovely way to include them. I actually had 2 other cousins I didn't have a place for act as "attendants". One passed out the bubbles and the other had people sign the guest frame. They got to be on the program fan, lol.
  10. We started out planning with 6 and 6 plus 2 junior bridesmaids, and a flower girl. We ended up with 4 on his side, 5 on mine, no junior bms, a flower girl, and a ring bearer. Don't feel like you have too many. It's a blessing that you have so many loving relationships in your life...some people don't have that. For some couples it's hard to cut out these instrumental people. It was for us so that's why almost half as many people were standing up for us as there were sitting down, lol.
  11. I think they are a few hundred more than non-letterpress. I recommend White Aisle.
  12. Ooh I'm on it...they made us beautiful invitations & thank yous. So nice to hear this, thanks for sharing!
  13. Yes, all of the above. Plus the in-room fridges are stocked with Corona and room service beer is Modelo....mmm
  14. Great review and it sounds like your wedding was fabulous!
  15. Anything these guys do is good: Puerto Vallarta Eco-Tours, Expeditions, and Adventure Tours Of course I'd recommend a day or night visit to Las Caletas )
  16. I do know that when we landed in Montego Bay, JA in June there was a separate area of the airport that they were sending people to who may be infectious. That group included people who in the past few months had been to DR, Haiti, a few West African countries, and few Latin American countries. They were detained but I didn't stick around to see what happened. You should be fine, take the meds with you just in case.
