  1. I don't know about the ticker, sorry. But welcome! I honeymooned at ROR and it was awesome, you'll love it. I have a review in the Jamaica section and let me know if you have any questions.
  2. So pretty, the colors are awesome. Everything looks great, congrats to your sis!
  3. What a nice treat Sarah! (and a cool date night) I've never been either, have fun with Jeff )
  4. We never bother with exchanging currency in PV because dollars are accepted everywhere. If you pay for things in US $ your change is usually given in Pesos so you end up with them anyway - but know the exchange rate so you know if your change is correct. We brought a certain amount of cash for tipping and when we went shopping and needed more we went to the bank. There is a bank right by the Rio Cuale flea market that has ATM's secured in a glass booth and bank security guards if anyone is worried about safety.
  5. Welcome to the forum! I've not been there but I bet on of our DR brides can help. Happy planning )
  6. That would be a nice change for after the wedding. It's cute, hopefully someone here can take advantage of the deal.

That usually means that the next train will be a lot less crowded but people still ram themselves in - morons!!! I never do that, I'm so spoiled. I'll just wait for the next train. I can't believe I'm the only one that gave up my seat today for that lady. I was sooo pissed. One time, I gave up my seat for a pregnant woman and then a guy got up and gave me his seat because I did that. I would wait for the next one too!! People aren't nice anymore, I swear. Thank goodness you have common decency )

Why is it that only other women give up their seats for pregnant women Oh, and to the man who cut me off and took that other seat once it became available - YES, I purposely positioned my wet umbrella to drip on you after you did that to me. And YES, I was waiting for you to ask me to move it so I could yell at you and tell you why I put it there. Morons!!!! Way to get revenge Jen! That was a good laugh. I've heard that your subways are totally crowded out there. Do you have to stand for a long time or is your ride pretty short? What a PITA! There is a subway station on my corner and I never use it because it is so poorly laid out that it only goes through parts of L.A. I'd have to take the subway to a bus station and transfer twice to get to work - and I only work 15 miles from home. So I just drive my car like everyone else here....so sad
  9. Hahaha...not the wet spot! That would drive me up the wall, I have a problem with wet towels. Frustrated for you
  10. How sweet! I think that's a lovely idea )
  11. Hmm...I've heard of other resorts not letting outside photographers in so I don't think it's just a RIU thing. If you really want to bring someone in maybe you should just book them a room for one night. It won't be that much more money and then you don't have to stress over whether or not your photographer will be there. What a pain...sorry you have to deal with this!
  12. How exciting! We didn't do e-pics but a lot of girls here did. I'm sure yours will be beautiful. Our engagement was similar to yours though, we've always talked about it and just set a date one day. He "officially" proposed with the ring at Christmas, after the STD's went out and everything...lol He had it disguised in a box under the tree with the other gifts. I opened it and it was a box in a box in a box all the way down to the ring box. I opened the ring box and it was empty! I looked up at him and he had the ring in his hand and asked me to marry him...it was cute )
  13. You know you can't leave it at that with us! More info, and glad you had fun )
  14. OMG thank you!!! My husband loves Guinness and these sound delish!
