  1. And I was a fan. Sure, he looks like a good ol' boy but you don't judge a book by it's cover, right? I didn't think he was a straight up bigot. I feel so played. And he preaches all that God and brotherhood BS, if there are levels of bigots he is the worst kind. Maybe I was raised funny but I've always been taught that those things don't "slip" out without coming from a real place. Way to go Dog, you've proven you are truly as dumb as you look. You and your loudmouth low-class wife deserve to lose everything. Meet with anyone your PR team tells you to, I'm not buying any explanation you're selling. They should have left you in that Puerto Vallarta jail cell If you haven't heard, this is what I'm talking about: MediaTakeOut.com™ 2007 - RACIST!! Dog The Bounty Hunter Calls His Son's Girlfriend The N WORD!!!
  2. Welcome! You are definitely where you need to be, the ROR brides are on top of things and can help you tremendously. Happy planning )
  3. Thanks for the recipe. Dia de los Muertos is huge out here. Maybe bigger than Halloween in some areas, it is where I live. I love it! I'll be joining in the festivities. Heidi I love your ofrenda, that's very special )
  4. I vote for the fish too....plus it seems more universal (like you could dress it up or down). They are both nice though )
  5. We sure are, I guess I haven't annoyed everyone here yet....lmao!!
  6. Now that's funny! For some people computers are way over their heads....but dang!
  7. Ooooh...sounds fishy to me. Maybe one of our TA's can shed some light on it, but I wouldn't mess with it.
  8. That's horrible! I bet it changes into something else, but you can't plan the wedding around a maybe....hmmmm...... I have no experience with that area unfortunately. Scour the RM boards here, also there is good resort info on Riviera Maya Hotels, Resorts, Rentals: Mexican Caribbean Vacation So sorry but with all the heads here we will help you pull this together )

  10. That really is gorgeous. I feel like I've seen it before, maybe on a wedding show?
  11. Congratulations you two! Here's to a lifetime of togetherness .
  12. Poor thing you're all alone out there ( I'll chat with you in the "other" section )
  13. We had appetizers & drinks brought to us while we were taking pictures. What can I say we like to eat...lmao! It was really good too, all of the food was. Ann we have to go back when you aren't sick so you can eat. LC makes the yummiest paella! And the chicken stuffed with shrimp was delicious. Sounds a lot better than the soup I'm eating now (
  14. This may be evil, but another bonus to doing a preliminary rsvp is that if some people don't respond then they are out. I.E., if there are a few obligatory invites you could do without and they don't rsvp but try to come later, you can tell them it is too late. We put in our std letter that since it is a DW the process is different so our WC needs a count asap and unfortunately anyone we don't hear from will not be accounted for
  15. The pics of just us two took about 1 hour. It should have been abut 30 minutes but I dragged my photographer to places a little far off that I had scouted earlier.
  16. How cool! You look great and your wedding party looks like so much fun. Love how down they were to get wet and play around!
  17. I did. Our std was a magnet with a letter asking to rsvp to our website by a certain date if they are interested. People lag so we sent reminder postcards about 1 month before the deadline we gave. We made it clear that only the people who rsvp'd to our website would receive formal invites to the wedding. It saved money on invites and also gave us a better idea of a head count early on. (Still, we had a few people who didn't rsvp because "we knew they were coming"...frustrating!)
  18. The 1st one is my favorite too. Stop talking about your hips! It looks great on you and you are a woman not an adolescent - having a shape is sexy They are all pretty but #1 gets my vote )
  19. Well we had over 10 people walk in ahead of me, so for us it took about 5 minutes. If your song is 2 minutes that is plenty of time for just you. If you want it to be more dramatic you can stop theirs and start yours, I just liked the flow of having one song (but then again I loved my song and it was long enough to work for everyone). As for the caviar, many people totally ate it. We just took the standard menu, but I'm sure you could switch that out for something more crowd friendly for no additional charge.
  20. Nope the minister doesn't sign it because the Mexico ceremony isn't legal (even though it will feel more real than the other!). I'll cross my fingers that you get the green light! We got the red light and they did go through everything but it was quick and they let us go without having to pay anything extra. Best wishes )
  21. I went that route and for our spiritual ceremony the marriage license was not needed. I did take a photocopy for the resort, however, because they required proof of recent marriage before they would set up the honeymoon perks. I stayed at Dreams. You're leaving tomorrow!!!! Have a blast!!!
  22. Yep, I agree that you can skip the save the date. Or you can combine them, like send an insert or magnet with the invitation saying "save the date" that they can put on the fridge as a reminder. I sent the actual invites out 6 weeks before the wedding, but I had done 2 std's months before. In your case I would say to get the invites out asap unless you do a verbal std with all guests. You want to give them as much notice as possible, trust me on that!
  23. Thanks for sharing your review. Glad it all went well )
