Our best man bailed after our programs were printed (and another gm and bm for that matter!) Nothing you can do, we had a large group so it was no problem to shift a gm to the best man and have 2 BMs walk with one gm....it's no biggie. If you can't ask anyone else have the gm remaining also be the best man. Trust me, in the end it doesn't matter but I know how frustrating it is right now!!!

If it's the 30th and you don't have a gift, I may be your santa. I'm just waiting for one more thing to be delivered to me....hold tight...it will be there )

BOAT RIDE HOME

If this sounds harsh it's nothing personal, but you couldn't be more wrong! It is the party place. Open bar starts on the boat before you even pull off, runs through the night, and stops when the boat stops and your guests get off to go home. Julie said it well - some people don't dance, no matter where they are so don't use the location as a barometer for that. Know your guests - I know mine, and they could start a dance party on the sidewalk...put them on a dance floor in the jungle and watch out! We aren't the funky chicken kind of crowd but we definitely got down - from the 4 year old to the 68 year old. A party boat with open bar and loud bumping music in Mexico is not a buzz kill. Get on one and you'll see what we mean!! If your guests are party people they won't shut down once they get on the boat. If anything the party will intensify! Shoot, we were doing shots on the boat home with the minister...and yes, I was grinding all on the captain (who was a hottie by the way)! My crowd drank to excess, danced til the boat docked to go home, and I won't get into the sex again....read the LC thread for that ) If you bring a party crowd to LC, the only problem you'll have is picking a club for the afterparty......I suggest The Zoo where we went and partied until 5am. That's a lot and I'm pretty sure I know who sent you that quote as well...lol You wouldn't be disappointed but you can definitely beat that price with other companies/venues. I also suggest Las Caletas where I got married, very unique place and you'll pay half that or less depending on how you do things. You get to party on land and sea, plus, the only people within miles of your ceremony will be your guests and the staff....yeah I'm biased too! That is soooooo rude...happened to me too. We had postcards made with pics of PV and the date on the front, and a reminder to RSVP on the back. It was worth the $30 for me not to have that conversation with people. As this was our second STD anyone who didn't reply was out for sure.

Also, if the person is in an apartment it may take longer. I.E. I live in a building where you need a key to get into the lobby and hallways. Unless I'm outside waiting, packages are left with the manager who signs for them. Sometimes she has them a few days before we track them down.

Cedars is a very busy and prominent hospital, my godchild was born there and I was not pleased with the level of care. Let's hope they make a postive recovery. So sad (
