  1. Very cool, congrats! Wouldn't you rather spend summer sweating in PV marrying your dream lover than summer sweating on the couch at home? LOL The heat adds something special to your DW memories, embrace it!
  2. Sabrina! You'll get lots of help here so it will make being a student/wedding planner a lot easier...LOL If you haven't already, familiarize yourself with the search function (above right). It will help you quickly find tons of info on Moon Palace and wedding stuff in general...happy planning )
  3. Yes, another fan!! I've heard the rumors too and I wouldn't be surprised, she really puts herself out there like that. I'm not hating, just calling it like I see it..lol I wonder what they cut out when Diddy asked her to stay in the meeting and had everyone leave (even the producers)? This season looks to be full of drama and I love it! I'm kind of pulling for the guys right now. They are talented and hungry (and cute!), but we'll see. Diddy was not pleased with them on episode 1! And the Aubrey-Donnie thing was cracking us up! I can't wait for the episode when she confronts him with the other chick....classic!
  4. Yikes! Your priest does rock (funny background on him!). I think his solution is excellent. All I can suggest is to roll with the punches, but I understand your frustration! And you're right, no ifs, ands, or buts about it....the Catholic church in Mexico will not "bless" a wedding outside of the church. It takes a small miracle to pull that off in the States. A family friend had an outdoor wedding done by a "renegade" cardinal in the 70s who had close ties to the family, but there is still talk that it isn't "official". Kind of ironic considering that nature is God, and they say the people are the church...not to mention all the preaching Jesus did in the desert....but Jesus didn't make the rules. I could go on but I'm sure you are well aware Good luck and if you end up doing the Catholic ceremony at home, I've been there and would be happy to assist )
  5. I missed season 1 but I've caught all the rest. I'm old so it's kind of embarrassing...hehe...but I was so amped to see that a new season started! Danity Kane vs. the guys (do they have a name yet?) vs. Donnie It makes for great t.v., even my husband watches so it must not be all bad! Any other fans?
  6. Fantastic! Now you know you're going...lol Time is ticking . . .
  7. I voted #1. They are both cute, but you won't have to worry about overkill with the neutral color. You won't notice the zipper that day. I gave a BM my perfume and lip gloss and she refreshed me every so often, your hands will be busy with eating, drinking, and dancing so don't be surprised if you don't carry it yourself too
  8. Damn it Jaime I keep hoping you'll say you feel great but life is sure kicking your butt right now ( I'm soooo sorry you have the sore throat to deal with. Too bad I'm married and out of state because I would totally make you my domestic partner to get you some good insurance!! My mom would say to gargle hot water mixed with salt and vinegar to kill what's in your throat, and take teaspoons of honey and lemon for the cough. If they sell Odwalla juice out there I recommend C Monster...one an hour if you can. It's brought me to health faster than anything over the years when I've caught bugs. A vicious flu is going around my job...I mean bad, like several people have taken their kids to the E.R. this week alone, and then they are getting it from the kids and passing it around at work. I feel it coming on so I'm on Odwalla too...lol
  9. Janet I don't think I've ever seen the back of your dress...it's stunning! Great pic )

What is/did everyone else use their stickers for? Jamy, you said you used yours for everything, like what? I used the stickers as invitation seals, on our cd favors to hold the ribbon in place, as decoration on plain white favor boxes we put candy in, to seal the ribbon on the parents' gifts, BM gifts, etc. Um....I used them to seal the thank you notes, and on the pages of our welcome booklet we included in the OOT bags. It was very cool to have (I put the monogram in my siggy, the stickers looked like that but I got the small ones..hehe)
  11. You're probably in flight but wow your stuff looks amazing! I love love love your BM dresses, the colors are perfect! Can't wait until you get back, have fun!!!

Just clarifying because it seems that you overlooked the previous posts in your endorsement
  13. Our beach reception was lovely, although it was in PV not RM. Not sure how the climates differ, but I was pleasantly surprised that there were no mosquitos around despite the fact that jungle surrounded us. Maybe the staff fends them off, but I didn't notice any. There was a gentle breeze but no harsh wind. There were small sand crabs at one point but I didn't notice them after sunset, and everyone was barefoot. I can't think of any cons, maybe we were lucky but it was perfect. Full moon, great weather, bonfire. When it got dark we even had neon blue plankton decorating the ocean and washing up on shore! I wouldn't have traded the beach reception for anything! If you're indoors you may as well be in your hometown....well not exactly, but the beach is spectacular in RM, no?
  14. Yeah that is pushy and I'm glad she was set straight too!
  15. I agree Morgan...maybe our brains are not artistic enough to grasp the beauty of some of these...or maybe they really aren't that hot..LOL
  16. Go get married girl!! So happy it finally rolled around, you'll have a blast and enjoy that TTD!!
  17. No way! I was there last January for a wedding too. Honestly I'm not big on Vegas but I like to eat and drink so it works. We always drive since it is so close but this time we are flying - woohoo! No 2 lane highway of death for us this time ) I'm still down for a socal BDW meet-up there sometime
  18. In March, one of my friends (a BM from my wedding) just became engaged and they want to do it fast. So we're doing the Vegas wedding thing! It's looking like it will be on St. Patty's day!

The easiest way I know is to host them on another site, like photobucket, kodakgallery, snapfish, etc. Then you can either post the links here, or right click the pic in your gallery, go to properties, copy that address into the insert image box when you post here....it's the one that looks like a postcard with mountains. Sounds like a lot of work but it's pretty easy...I wanna see )
  20. Yes, I noticed that! And their bathrooms look nice...I care more about hotel bathrooms than beds...lol It is a little further down the strip but we may go with them
  21. Totally happens to me too, I share your pain
  22. Never been to either, but DH and I sooo want to go to Thailand. Bali looks awesome too and a friend had an amazing trip there. Thailand has so much to offer, from busy urban areas to secluded islands. We are in love with Thai food and (used to live in a place called "Thai Town" ) so it would be Thailand for us!
