Mine actually was dirty, but I didn't do a TTD and people here say the water helps to clean it if you do one. The bottom was/is brownish. Not dark, but noticeably not white. And there is a little black mark on the front from where the fire dancers got too close...lol It would probably come out if I had it cleaned, I just haven't worn it since!

Those are great! I got samples from them when I was shopping around and I was happy with the quality.

I've signed this already, but thanks for posting Tammy. A friend, and former professor from college, is from Sudan. He is one of many on a list of people that are to be shot on sight if they are caught in Sudan again. Basically this is because he left Sudan for Egypt to go to college, and eventually UCLA where he got his Ph.D in African Studies and teaches/writes against genocide. In 2000 he wanted to visit his family, and he had to get the U.N. involved but and they would only fly him into Kenya. From there he walked for 4 days to reach his village (and back to Kenya), all the while in danger of death. It was very serious but he made it in and out. Everyone isn't that lucky

I voted professional but we also had some guests who took their own videos (we didn't ask them to, they just did). The pro one came out fine. It isn't the best out there I'm sure, but we're not big into that stuff so it suited our purpose. The best thing about having friends' videos is that they catch things the pro doesn't, because the pro can't be in 3 places at once. So watching each video we get completely different background conversations/views. It's pretty cool

Is there an easy way to have one of those check boxes for "I have read/agree to the rules" before someone can proceed, like some sites have? I know some people are just lazy regardless, but maybe some people don't knowingly dismiss the how-tos...maybe they are so excited to get into the forum that they ignore email they are sent since it doesn't say "Dreams" or whatever their topic of interest is. Well I guess that's lazy too....just a thought

Ours was a scantron test geared towards couples of mixed faiths, but a lot of it was general relationship stuff. After the results came back about how our answers compared Will and I discussed them in front of the priest. We thought it would be weird but omg what we learned from it! And the priest was cool and said he wouldn't intervene unless we asked him to. Turns out we are highly compatible (yay!), but there are things we differ on that we never considered after being together for years....so I think these kinds of tests are great!

Our priest here needed that for the U.S. ceremony. I was able to get the baptism/communion/confirmation documents for myself without a problem because they were all done at the same church. DH is not Catholic, which is no problem, but they still wanted his baptism records. His church doesn't keep records, and the priest said that is common since the Catholic church is one of the few that documents everything...so we had to have a letter written on his behalf from someone present at his baptism. It was a lot of paperwork but honestly not as difficult as we thought. Amy, did you take the compatibility survey yet? That was actually really fun!

Gosh there is so much to do, do you like music, museums, beaches, cool movie theaters, fine dining? Let us know and we will flood you with tips! Are you driving from L.A. to Vegas? If so, a word of caution: Make sure there is nothing major going on in Vegas that weekend. Most of the drive is along a 2 lane desert highway. The drive takes about 4 hours, but if there is a holiday or big event in Vegas (like a fight/sports event),the drive time triples...seriously! So just double check that it is a dead weekend unless you are flying BTW there are some excellent desert outlets along the way to Vegas so if you are driving and want to shop, save your shopping for there!
