  1. Great pics...I love the bikini hanging...too cute! Glenda I so remember that video, and now I want to go to Bermuda too
  2. Gorgeous beach...and deserted you say? Very cool! All of your input is great....and did someone say Magnum PI? Too funny, DH tivos that show, I know about the helicopter dock. (btw magnum's nut-hugger shorts are hilarious but that was the style then!)

Not 2 days ago I'm scouring the internet for pretty Caribbean places most people don't go and I came across the Margarita Islands! And yes, things are super cheap there. Look how pretty:
  5. I know, I'm willing to bet that facility/set-up fees are more than both of our weddings combined!
  6. Alright! Celebrate your birthday in style!
  7. Happy VD to us all! (I'm with Tammy...lol)
  8. I remember you saying you went to culinary school in Italy so canned soup sauce is a no-no...lol Everyone needs a short cut sometimes! BTW feel free to post more of your yummy pasta dishes in the pasta recipes thread

Anyways stupid DVR! BTW this is online, not that you want to see it, but if you do: (she comes in around 4:30) YouTube - American Idol // Feb 13, 2008 // Top 24 cut // Part 4 of 4
  10. Poor Cardin...She was better than average imo....the exposure can't hurt though and maybe someone important will check out her myspace and go from there Josiah, I feel bad for the kid and have to admire his determination. There may be hope for him too. Side note, I really like that girl from Ireland and the biker chick...they can sing!!
  11. I've heard about their beaches and seen some pics, very pretty!
  12. Totally! Also, I grew up with a lot of people from there and they (the ones I know anyway) had maids and nannies and were driven to school in limos. When their parents moved them to Cali they were all bummed that they didn't have those things anymore. Talk about culture shock...lol
  13. One of my bf's is from the Philippines and I've seen pictures of the beach at her old house and you're so right...gorgeous!
  14. Aww...your pets are the cutest. It's funny how they sleep...I'll find one of my baby too, she'll curl up on anything soft!
  15. Alyssa that place is stunning!!! I bet the buyout was ridiculous for a spot like that! Do you have any pics to share? Just gorgeous! I fell in love with the beach at Mamee Bay/Ocho Rios. Water temp and color is perfect, we spent days just bobbing around in the sea. DH took these pictures: Don't mind the chain-smoking Spaniards to the right...lol Jean-marcus is MR Mayan Riviera? Lanikai in Hawaii is one of my favorite beaches ever, warm, clear water with powdered sugar soft sand. I have pics but that was before I had a digital cam and I never scanned them onto disc. Here is a picture of Lanikai I ripped from the internet:
  16. Wow! That is beautiful. I can tell from the pics that the sand was soft and the water is gorgeous. Love the bungalow and FI in the "relaxed" pose...haha Thanks for sharing, that was cool!! Thailand is definitely on my someday list!
  17. Hell yeah! And it's good first date conversation, you'll earn points. Chicks like a man who can channel his feminine side when needed
  18. Thanks for sharing Kash....we should all go one Saturday. Love wine country. And I've heard of Fess Parker's, they give it away as a prize on Regis and Kelly. Looks great!

  20. Ooooh Thailand, I can just imagine! Heck yeah post your photos!! You know how we are, we'd love to see )
  21. In terms of clear water, soft sand, and little ocean debris. Anywhere in the world. Just trying to compile a list. The beach at an oceanfront resort is more important to me than most everything else...well maybe except the bathroom
  22. We did a hand blessing too. There must be many varieties out there...here was the sample our minister sent us. I remember him saying something about children at the actual ceremony, and it being longer than this because our arms were getting tired...lol very similar to Tami's though: Hand Blessing Jamy, please face William and hold his hands, palms up, so that you may see the gift that they are to you. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow and tears of joy. These are the hands that will comfort you in illness and hold you when fear or grief fills you. These are the hands that will give you support and celebrate with you in your accomplishments. William, take a look at the position of your hands with Jamy's and know that this is the last time that you will have the “upper hand.” William, please hold Jamy’s hands, palms up, so that you may see the gift that they are to you. These are the hands of your best friend, smooth, young and carefree, as she promises to passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These are the hands that will hold you tight as you struggle through difficult times. They are the hands that will comfort you when you are sick or console you when you are grieving. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness. These are the hands that will give you support as she encourages you to fulfill your dreams. Our prayer for you today is that both of you will use these hands to build a marriage where all your dreams come true.
  23. Thanks Tammy! That's exactly what I was looking for, one completely from scratch. The chips are a fun touch...I may use cheez-its because they are my favorite thing ever
  24. I totally agree with you and felt the same way. How can you complain when you are with loved ones in paradise...and getting married!!! Anything that doesn't go according to plan is the icing on the cake imo, it adds to the memories. When you stress too much it becomes an "event" instead of a wonderful celebration of love. You have a great attitude and that's how I know your wedding will be amazing!

It totally makes you seem crazy, even my "real" friends don't get why I'm here when my wedding was last year...lol I have a co-worker all addicted to a Megadeath forum and I have the nerve to laugh at him. I wonder if all the metal heads are as close as us? LOL Quote: Originally Posted by staceyandadam Ok, ladies here is my BDW mishap! " I completely confused said "nope, nothing personal just my to-do list and schedule" She then in turn said "but you have check on STD's highlighted at the top of the page!!!!" AHHHHHH!!! I laughed and laughed! She was completely confused until I showed her my STD and explained what an STD was outside of the hospital! HAHAHAHAH!! Now if that is not an addiction to this site! I don't know what is! Just thought I would share! That's too funny!
