  2. Hi! I have a question, we will be there in a few weeks for a tiny wedding. The wedding is on St. Patrick's Day and after the ceremony the plans are dinner then clubbing. Do you recommend any clubs for St. Patrick's Day or just fun spots in general? Thanks!
  3. Cahtherine, Drea & I made your siggy! How cool is that?
  4. No, well I didn't see one anyway. Maybe they can arrange to bring one or your hotel can do it? My dress wasn't super wrinkly but did have some wrinkles that came out from hanging the dress in the humidity, it's like a natural steamer...lol

Ooh thanks Maura! My mom used to go there often and it's like her favorite place on earth. That's where all the grottos are, right? I would love to see your pictures, hers aren't recent.

You are a wizard!

Morgan is totally official but I suck and learned by trial and error...lol Here's my kindergarten explanation: Open powerpoint and to the right where you can choose the slide layout choose "blank". Copy pictures from wherever you have them (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+v) onto the slide (or right click-copy, right click-paste). Click the corners of the pic to make them as big or little as you like and drag them into place. If you right click the picture it gives you formatting options like borders and stuff. When you're done select the whole thing, right click, and save as photo. Then put that onto photoucket or something similar. That's all I know and it isn't fancy, but it works for me:)

  16. I was going to suggest New Orleans too because it may be the cheapest from TX and they would have a ball! It can be hot and hurricane season though. Since CA is ruled out (boo...lol) what about somewhere in Florida? It's also close so I'm thinking it's cheaper than some states, and there is tons to do there with beautiful beaches so I hear. When I'm trying to find where to go, I go to Ticketmaster.com and search cities I'm considering for the time frame to see what music/theater/sports events are at a given place. I once went to Indiana strictly for a concert but I had fun in the process...haha
  17. Omg Tami you have to do the tambourines! They are too cute and I've never seen anyone use them so that's even more special. If I were at your wedding you know I would be dancing around banging mine everywhere...haha Go for it!!

  19. I love it Christine!! And I used to go to Pier 39 often as a kid, that brings back fond memories for me

It's nearly all I have left of my family, and I'm pretty attached to it, funny-sounding and all. I grew to love my maiden name too. It is rare in the U.S, my dad is European and there are a handful of people with the name in the States...when he finds one he contacts them because somehow we are related...lol It sounds cool and I even as a middle name that most people won't hear, I'm keeping it. No worries, nobody here would say your choice is dumb or illogical. No offense taken. You are free to express why you would never change your name, just like others are free to express why they would certainly change theirs. ~~~~~~ To me, I had to realize that a name doesn't define me (Dbld78 don't get heated, this is not to put you or anyone down, just to say why I chose what I chose). Seriously, I agonized over what to do for months. But I did make a decision to keep my maiden as a middle and take my husband's last name, even after considering how important my maiden name is to me. It's just what I wanted to do and it's not like people won't know who I am anymore. I am the same person with the same job and the same circle of friends and associates, most of whom know I got married. If I come across someone who hadn't heard, it's as simple as saying "I'm Mrs. X now". Everything else is paperwork (which I still need to do!). To each their own!
  21. We had ours 3 1/2 months after (along with another ceremony!) so anything goes
