  1. Me too, they are good for anything but have that tropical feel too.
  2. No problem, when I was wedding planning I loved all the savings I could get!
  3. Our vows weren't traditional vows in the sense that we were pledging stuff like "I promise to...". They were more like love letters to each other/how we feel/what we mean to each other. I think they can be whatever you want so close your eyes and think of him...the words will flow )

As someone else mentioned it is more of a Jamaican-on-Jamaican issue as far as hate crimes but I guess a wrong place/wrong time scenario can happen to a tourist as well.
  5. I need to get off Macys.com! For those looking they have great prices on linen drawstring pants right now: Macy*s - Men's - Cubavera Drawstring Linen Pant Macy*s - Men's - Alfani Linen Drawstring Pant
  6. I came across these at Macy's and think they are stylish and could be used for a DW, just passing it along: Macy*s - Search Results
  7. Good stuff! I particularly agree with not overplanning for your guests and letting some things go.

He's an older man, really deep and kind dude. He gave us a 2 hour history lesson on the way to ROR and made the drive awesome! The other guy Terrance is awesome but FYI you will be hitching rides since he doesn't drive, Peter has his own vehicle. Either are great and you'll probably meet your own hook-ups once you're there too. Nice people attract nice people )

That's a dealbreaker for me, if ever I found out DH has been having sex with hookers - no matter how fancy they are - I would be out!! There is no getback from that
  10. Okay I've never been to either but both are awesome for a honeymoon. For me it would come down to whether we wanted to be chill and peaceful or on the go and adventurous. You can work romance into either location...good luck!
  11. Omg mine were talking about taking DH to Rosarito which is a short drive, but I was like if you are going to pay for a hotel in Mexico it better be PV where the wedding is...dorks! I'm sure it will work out but it stinks & I sympathize

  14. That's so funny. Well in your defense you were in Iowa (no offense to Iowa people) but it strikes me as a place where you have the time to drum up all kinds of pranks. Gosh I used to save everything too! I'm scared to look in my box...it's moved twice with us and I haven't opened it in years...lol

Did anything mentioned above sound the least bit pleasurable? Well, did it, James? FYI, unless you're some kind of sick S&M freak girl, there will never be anything "happy" about a day in which you have to jack yourself up on Motrin and Kahlua and lock yourself in your house just so you don't march down to the local Walgreen's armed with a hunting rifle and a sketchy plan to end your life in a blaze of glory. For the love of God, pull your head out, man! If you just have to slap a moronic message on a maxi pad, wouldn't it make more sense to say something that's actually pertinent, like "Put Down the Hammer" or "Vehicular Manslaughter Is Wrong", or are you just picking on us? Sir, please inform your Accounting Department that, effective immediately, there will be an $8 drop in monthly profits, for have chosen to take my maxi-pad business elsewhere. And though I will certainly miss your Flex-Wings, I will not for one minute miss your brand of condescending bullshit. And that's a promise I will keep... Always. Best, Wendy Aarons Austin TX OMG I'm in stitches...this Wendy Aarons lady is hilarious!!

  17. Wow that's expensive guys! IMO dancing on the sand is feasible if you don't have the budget for the $900.
  18. Since I'm not TTC I'm happy when it arrives but that joy is diminished by all of the nasty stuff you mentioned above...LOL I have yet to feel happy about cramps!

  20. Good for you! You don't need any extra drama and if that's what the party has become I say you made the right choice
  21. Baja Fresh is really good, that's cool that there are a few in TX!
  22. I've never seen one but to each their own!
  23. El Pollo Loco has some healthy & inexpensive options (do they have those on the east coast?) The taco al carbon is citrus-marinated grilled chicken, onions, cilantro, & corn tortillas. Plus they make yummy salsas and whole pinto beans. They also sell veggie sides and it's just steamed broccoli, cauliflour, carrots, etc. EL POLLO LOCO We love Pollo Campero...I think they are starting to be nationwide, it's a central American chain. Anyway, their beans are soooo good. I'm not sure how healthy they are but it beats most fast food I'm sure. I get beans, pieces of rotissierie chicken, and plantains and call it a meal! It's really really good and fast.Pollo Campero KooKooRoo makes delicious & healthy sides like tomato salad or baked yams that are great, and I'm a fan of their turkey. KooKooRoo Wendy's has great turkey sandwiches with veggies that you wouldn't think come from Wendy's. I love Togos veggie or tuna sandwiches too. Also if you don't count carbs like me, Wendy's has a plain baked potato with chives that is a great alternative to french fries and goes well with a salad for when you want something hot to eat.
