Combo bachelor/bachelorette parties?
AmyInMI replied to beachbride08's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I did both... My friend here where we live took me out for my Bachelorette party. A few weeks later my close friends from my hometown, who are also coming to the wedding, wanted to throw a Bachlorette party for me. Because they are all in relationships and their BF's all get along with Aaron really well, they threw a couple's party for us and we had a great time!! We started out by having dinner at Cheeseburger In Paradise. From there we went to a comedy club and then went out to a few bars afterwards. -

If anyone has things to sell.........I need everything. Table #'s, decorations, OOT bags..........AND yes even a dress!!!!! I'm a size 2 to 4. So if any of you brides want to get rid of things please let me know!!!!! I have some extra OOT bag items that I would like to get rid of. According to Sandra, it was a recent decision by the management due to an increase in the number of complaints of people who were dining at the El Patio and were distracted by the music of the wedding receptions held nearby. I am pretty sure that because Dreams is building the new ballrooms/convention center that they will start doing away with reserving of the restaurants for wedding receptions. This is another complaint that Sandra mentioned because people were not able to visit these restaurants because they were constantly being closed because of receptions. I will be able to take some pics of the ballroom/convention center when I am there in May for you.

We were planning on having our reception at El Patio and renting speakers but they no longer allow you to have music for your receptions at El Patio!! I guess too many people eating there for dinner were complaining from the music from wedding receptions.

I also have an ivory one with pearls on it for sale. I bought this one on sale when I bought my dress and found another I liked better. I would be willing to sell this one for $20 + shipping. PM me if you would like more info or pics.

I subscribed to Napster. I just have the Napster-To-Go version, which allows me to load music onto my mp3 player but I think they have a plan where you can burn the tracks onto a CD. My plan is $14.99 a month for unlimited music. I found this to be more reasonable than iTunes. Good luck!!

A way to get AC Moore & Michaels coupons in your email
AmyInMI replied to rodent's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
This is great news! I had no idea Michael's accepted JoAnn's coupons! I am like you Morgan, I always forget to go get the Sunday paper, and half of the times I do, there isn't even a Michael's ad in there. Thanks!! -
bought my OOT bags (pics)
AmyInMI replied to Leslie-Xcaret09's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I actually bought one of these for each of my BM's in pink. We already have our OOT bags for the rest of our guests but I thought that these were nice for the BM's because they are a bit roomier. Thanks for posting! -

She also recommended someone else but was way out of my price range. TIA We are purchasing the Ultimate wedding package which includes the videography.

I figure this is the case as well. There would be no way they could not be on property on the weekends, they have been there for all of our former Dreams Tulum bride's weekend weddings. Due to the weekends being much busier with 2-3 weddings a day, the majority of their time is spent setting up and taking down everything for the weddings. Sandra just emailed me 2 or 3 times in the past few days but I had a lot of questions regarding what I would need to purchase and bring with me for our May wedding. I have noticed a great increase in the amount of emails she sends now that our date is getting closer. As lisa suggested, try not to freak out and start making a list of all of your questions and send them as your day gets a bit closer. She will go through and answer each and every one of your questions. Good luck!
