  1. For my friends wedding last year, she gave out bags in advance, I think the week before. I brought mine, and so did all the BM's, but a lot of other people did not. I am sure Dawn did not tell them she wanted them to bring them though, its just the way she is, but she did want them to. I would say more than half the people left them at home. Sorry, I wish I had better news for you. But, I think if you tell everyone they should bring them along, they probably would.
  2. Congratulations Karen. I hope you have the best day ever. I can't wait to see the pictures. Go, have a great time and hurry back with the pictures and the review
  3. They are Alfred Angelo, so lots of places have them. I do believe you can get them from house of brides as well. Alfred Angelo... Find the perfect Bridal Gown, Bridesmaid Dress, Prom Dress, Flower Girl Dress or Mother of the Bride Dress at Alfred Angelo. Style No. 6455

I am all about the natural look and I love MAC, I am guessing you have a person do you make-up who likes to wear a lot of make-up themselves. I look at a person whose make-up I like and I get them to help me. Its just like a hairdresser, if they have bad hair, I won't let them do mine. lol Just a rule I have.
  5. Alright, I am sooo happy. We finally ordered our bridesmaid dresses. We will get them 3 weeks before the wedding, that is cutting it close, and its scary, but oh well, we ordered them and I love them. I posted a pic before, but here they are again. This is the colour we ordered as well.
  6. Those are soooo cute. Is everyone else doing seating arrangements or just letting people decide where they want to sit? I am torn on this one.
  7. Yay Nicole!! I hope the day is perfect for you and everything you always dreamed of. I can't wait to see the pictures.

That is too funny, I think that is how I would word it as well. lol

I have been studying 10 hours a day, 7 days a week so my brain might be fried! I asked them to tell me when they RSVP'd on my website. I could set up a question area, so I did. lol I have a few people who are not RSVP'ing online, so I am going to email or call them to ask them.
  11. Do you have a template for those stickers? I love love them and want to make them cause I am giving out flip flops.
  12. I also do not think there is anything wrong with being MotM more than once, I am just saying I know how Glenda feels, I would feel the same way, that is all.

Now what I reallly want to do is a pole dancing class, find that Laura in Toronto, and I will be your workout buddie! Wouldn't that be a blast? The guys would probably like it too! Kelly~ They do have it, Flirty Girl Fitness I have thought about doing it many times. It looks so fun. And, they do bachelorette parties.

So why should this be any different. You have a good point, but I think that this is the only time its going to happen, and if I can't trust him, why am I marrying him. I would rather find out something now, before we got married than after I have been screwed around by many asshole men in the past and this is the only man I would allow to go see naked women dancing around, and maybe even on his lap, cause I know he would NEVER do anything. And, I have warned him many many times that if he cheated on me, I would leave him as soon as I found out and take him for all he is worth. I scared him off of cheating. lol

Amy please take me off this poll so we can have a real contest. Okay now Glenda, I agree with you that you want someone else to get it, I would too if I already got it and was nominated. BUT, you are a huge asset to this forum and you help someone everytime you log on, so you are WRONG on that point.

Would that mean they will get divorced and find someone new? lol in that case I think I should pass on this one.

    Newly Engaged!

You will love it here. There is not other place in the world so full of great girls ready to help you out. Anything you need, just hollar and someone will know the right thing to say.
  18. I love 1, 4 and 8. Those are good pictures. You look so happy in the last one as well, so I like it too, but you can't really see your FH.
  19. I am okay with it, I said sure why not. I know my FH hates them though, so I doubt they will go, but sometimes other guys make them feel like they have to go. Besides whenever FH does anything, even when other girls hit on him, he tells me all about it, we are very open and honest that way. I hate strip clubs as well, but if he is going, I will probably go as well, just to even the score
  20. You look so great and your flowers look awesome. Congratulations!! I can't wait to see the rest.

You know what your children will have to face, being so good looking that everyone will want to be their friends and when they get older be in love with them. I am sorry, but I have never met a "mixed race" person who is not exceptionally good looking. People need to understand that love is love, it does not see colour or race or religion or even sex, you can't help who you love, and you should never ever need to!

I wouldn't register because my guests are traveling? I am not getting married for gifts, it's not about that, but they would be nice hahahah. I always assumed I would register but now you have me thinking. Also this trip is a vacation for them as well. jess I do not think there is a wrong thing to do in this situation, its all personal preference. We feel if we register, people will get us gifts cause they think they need to. We do not want people who are spending the money to come to get us anything, spending the money to see us get married is already more than enough. I also understand why people do want to register though, we are just not doing it. Neither way is right or wrong, its what you want to do.

But, I bet its cheaper than a cake would be, I am guessing $8 per slice, so you will probably save money.
