Good idea!!!

This is such a crappy situation for all brides that will be effected. Unfortunately there will be a lot of DW brides that will have to change plans. I really think that the change might be the best thing and you had no idea. You will find somewhere new, that you have never been before and your wedding will still be perfect and maybe even better. I keep telling myself this right now as well. I know there is just a tropical storm watch for Cuba, but anything can happen. So, we just have to be positive and know that it will all work out in the end. Look at what happened with the wedding that Matt was the photog at http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...alist-run.html It turned out so well and now they have great stories to tell. But, all of us have enough time to change our locations, we will not get stuck like these people did.

I know it might be hard...what section did you find them ?? They are pink and brown on the inside, those are my wedding colours. But, I tried to take a picture of the inside and it just comes out odd, you can't see anything. The colours are pretty well exactly what you see here though and they have a light material on the inside with a zipper pocket on one side and a cell phone pocket on the otherside. I got them in the purse section of wal-mart, where the purses and luggage is. I would go check quickly though, I had to go to 2 wal-marts to get the right colours in as many as I need.

Special OOT bag for the Bride & Groom

Some of the things I was thinking of including were: Champagne Chocolates A tour book of Ontario bubble bath a book about marriage a CD of love songs So please let me know if you have any suggestions!!! Canadian girls, is there something distictively Canadian I should include? I also need suggestions for "something blue". Her theme is butterflies so I was going to see if I could find a little blue butterfly pin to pin. Thanks Everybody!!! Everytime I have been in a bridal party, I make a wedding day survival kit for the bride. I will look for it and tell you what is in it. Maybe that will help. They always love them, even if they don't need to use the stuff, they feel better knowing they have it. -
I finally got my bags. Wal-mart is having an end of summer clearance sale. his is what they looked like when we bought them. They were regular $14.97 and on clearance for $4. My sister and FH liked the circles on the front, my mom and I did not. So, we took them off. It took no time at all and was really easy, we used a seem ripper. This is what they look like now. They are pink and brown on the inside and have zipper pockets and cell phone pockets. I love them and got 25 of them. They will also hold a lot of stuff, I think they are perfect. I now need a bag for the men.

Canadian Girls - OOT Bags
JulieG replied to JulieG's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Alright, I am very happy right now. My mom and I went to look for fabric with no luck. My mom said, lets just see what Wal-mart has, I had been there a few times and everything was really pricey. So, we go there and find out they are having an end of summer clearance sale. So, I got bags. This is what they looked like when we bought them. They were regular $14.97 and on clearance for $4. Sometimes BFF's don't always stay that way and what's important to each of us is different. Anyway, I'm rambling ... but know that people at and in your wedding as well as people who couldn't make it all love you and wish you happiness! We will still be friends for sure. I am doing my best to not make a big deal out of it. I know she is sad she can't come. She even asked her grandmother and her father for a loan, but they said no. So, she did try. I just wish she had eaten out a few less times and not shopped so much, but that is in the past, nothing can change it now.

What was the delivery charge like from OTC? -

Alright, you get to work and I expect you to keep me updated on your progress. Actually, you and I can legally get married here, that way you can become a citizen, and then I will get an annulment before we leave. Deal?

I don't know how to do hair and make-up and 2. I'm American, I can't travel to Cuba. That is not good enough Glenda, you should be able to do it for me anyway. Go to school now, you have 2 months, and become a Canadian citizen as well. If you heart me you will do it. You are too cute Glenda!!

(That is what I really need to do, eventually.) I know it is hard when people can't do for you what you would do for them. I have been friends with 4 girls for between 15-20 years and not one of those girls is making the trip to Jamaica. They were supposed to be my bridesmaids. (They even said Yes when I asked them and then after about 4 months, they all backed out, one by one.) My one other friend who i've only been close with over the last 6 years or so, said in a heartbeat that OF COURSE she would be there. I would do anything for my friends and I have in the past. So I totally understand the hurt when they don't do the same for you. I think you just have to realize that it isn't that she cares less then you care, just that she cares in a different way. Like those friends of mine do care and they are there for me in many ways, but just not in Jamaica. Sorry to have gotten off topic, I am just trying to relate it... I actually did take lessons, but it was in personal make-up, not bridal make-up. She told me last night that she would get her friend who is a make-up teacher to teach me how to do the things I want to and to give me some products as her way of trying to make up for it. So, hopefully she does do that, then I will not be as stressed about it. I hope.

Im getting so frustrated with DJs!!!!!

But, they did love him. I remember him being really good and sticking to the NO COUNTRY rule. lol Sorry country fans, we just don't like it much in my family. -

Oh, and my BF who is also a BM is drop dead gorgeous and so thin (has a 2 year old). I am not sure why I didn't pick any fat and ugly chicks to be my BM's. Huh, for any of you who have not picked your BM's, only pick ones bigger than you and not as pretty.

It was a really nice walk. TOnight Im going to do my "workout routine" I know muscle is good, I think I am just upset because I work out with 1 of my BM's and she was skinny to begin with, well now she has a six pack and looks amazing and I am still trying to get rid of fat, so it makes it harder for me, but also motivates me at the same time. I just wish there was a way to get rid of it faster. Aside from life threatening surgery that costs a fortune.

Thanks Carly, you are right, I know it, its just going to take a while to get over it. You see, the second worst part is that she is a hair dresser and make up artist (was till she went back to school), so she was going to do my hair and make-up and help out the other BM's as well. So, I am back to not knowing what to do about my hair and make-up.

I went to see my trainer again last night. I just don't see the numbers on the scale moving much. I can tell that I am firmer and stronger, but I need to weight to go as well. So, I am a little stressed. I need to do more cardio on my own time and watch what I eat. With only 2 months and 1 week to go you think I would care more about what I put in my mouth, but I am having a hard time with it.

I would hate to go all the way to Markham to find out they don't have any that are battery powered, or that they are too pricey. Thank you so much for the suggestion. I might have to try to get there.
