Ummm...sorry to be a downer, but do you guys have Ikea? You must. You can get these, exactly for 25 cents each at Ikea. In tons and tons of different colours. For every wedding one of my friends or family has I always tell them to get them to put at least 4 on the table. It adds a great ambiance to the room and they are only 25 cents each. Its the best deal ever.

Anyone know where I can get this table runner? Its pink and brown, my colours and I love it. Since all my tables are square, I could even cut it and put it on all my tables. The head table will be rectangular. Please help.

I also got flip flops for all the ladies from Old Navy, in 2 shades of pink and the chocolate brown (our wedding colours). But, I think I am going to put them in the OOT bags. I already have so many things that I want my WC to do that are extra, that I don't want her to forget any of these things by adding more to the list. Anny made a logo for her flip flops, its on this forum somewhere. Anny, where are they?

This is very interesting to me... We usually pay $10 per person, depending on the hall. If its a bigger and/or more expensive hall then we charge $15 ot $20 per person. And, you have to have some good prizes because there is a door prize, for everyone who paid to get in, and lots of raffle prizes (this makes a lot of money if you have good prizes donated to you). We also make a lot of money off Jello shooters, charge $1 each and everyone buys them and you make lots of money off the. There are so many things we do. lol

But, they are also the ones who got their wedding paid for by their parents. If the parents are paying for the wedding, we do not do the buck and doe (also called a Jack and Jill or Stag and Doe). Its just to help a couple who is paying for their own wedding. It can raise a lot of money as well. My friend just had one (the bridal party hosts it) and they raised $4000 for her wedding. That is a good amount of money, I know we could all use it. lol

I have never ever been to one that charges that much money. The most I ever paid was $20 and there was always food. Never a free drink though, unless its non-alcoholic, but always food. I would not pay $60 to go, no way. Especially if I was not going to the wedding.

We are having the exact same problem, exactly. Except that I listen to alternative rock and he listens to old school rock. So, we can't decide on anything. I think country would be odd if you are not country fans, people would think we went crazy if we danced to a country song. I can come up with lots of ideas for you, I just need a little time. No Nickelback please, that stuff is just trashy pop wanna be rock crap. Sorry to fans of them, I just hate them. Some that I love are Trying and You and Me by Lifehouse (both short songs). Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. Ben Harper - he has lots of awesome songs like Forever. Jack Johnson has lots of songs. Oooh, 1 song I love - I think its called Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol (not sure of the song name, but its Snow Patrol for sure) COLDPLAY – THE SCIENTIST FYI, to get over the long song thing, we are having the wedding party join us half way through, because we also do not want to be looked at for 5 whole mins while spinning around. lol -
A buck and doe is a party us Canadian's throw to raise money for the bride and groom. Its a big party where you pay to get in and the drinks are cheap (but the B&G are still getting profits) and there are games and dancing and lots of drunken people spending lots of money to help out the B&G to pay for their wedding. Laura, You better invite me or else. lol Just say no. Tell them its a small intimate ceremony of just close friends and family and you would love to invite them, but are sorry. Still invite them to the buck and doe, everyone goes to that, not just people coming to the wedding, so do not worry about that at all. FYI, when you are planning your B&D, have your MOH email me, I know all the cheap halls in Barrie, I had to research it for my sister's B&D.

Brooke, I am right there with you. I have so much weight to lose to be at my goal weight, yet I ate a chocolate bar today. I am not sure why, but I am having the hardest time ever motivating myself to eat right, yet you would think it would be the biggest motivator. Its hard, I have no idea what to do next. Sorry, I am sure that did not help you at all. lol -

They are so comfortable and the rhinestones are so sparkly and pretty. I am very happy with them and I reccomend NATHANSHOES.com The only crappy thing was I had to pay $13.47 in customs and that bothers me because I could have bought them from a Canadian site, but they were cheaper from Nathan's. Well, after customs charge they turned out to be a little more expensive, not a lot, but its still annoying. -

I wish there was more here and I could send them to you, but I bought all the pink and brown ones and had to get 3 grey/silver to get the numbers I wanted. Maybe someone will find them for you. Fingers crossed. Or, you will find something better.

I would not worry about mixing and matching. I bought 3 silver cause they ran out of brown and pink, and they are just a silvery grey on the inside. You can't tell they are different cause its just the inside, and the silver goes well with them. So, I would not worry about that. OR did you mean you don't want to have different bags? lol (I just thought of this now). I totally understand if that is what you mean.
