I am literally in tears here are my desk, I have not read any farther, but I can't wait to read on. Trish, that is one amazing FH you have there. And Leigh, that was too sweet of you to do this with him. That is one of the best proposal stories I have ever heard. Congratulations Trish!!! Okay, I just saw the pics now. They are amazing. Wow, this is such a great story and you have amazing pictures. I don't have any pictures either, I really wish I did. Although, I said "what the hell" before I said yes (I was in shock), so it would not have made for very good pictures.
  2. YAY!!!! Congratulations. We were all pretty sure it was happening, so we are not surprised. lol SPILL IT!!! Details now.
  3. My FH is wearing a suit, long sleeve shirt and tie. When we are done pics, he can take off the jacket and tie and roll up the sleeves of his shirt. I personally wanted him in a suit, he did not mind either way. The GM's are in the same pants, and a white button up shirt, no tie. I want the groom to stand out from the rest of the guys.
  4. Wow, I think that is the biggest list yet.
  5. That was a tough vote. I had to think about it for a long time. I wish I did not have to vote for only 1.
  6. I love them both, that is a tough choice. They really both look amazing on you. I loved the first one a lot, till I saw the second one, now I love them both. Sorry, I am no help.
  7. Someone else on here tried it, I think. I have heard that you do lose the weight but the portions are really small and that is the main reason. I know a few people who were hungry all the time and ended up binging. If you want to try anything, I say try weight watchers. It worked for everyone I know who tried it and its much cheaper, and you can do it on line if you want and not go to meetings. I did it last year and lost 20 lbs. It totally works. And, you can eat whatever you want, just count it. You can go out for dinner as well, where with Jenny Craig you have to eat their meals, so it does not help when you go out or have guests over for meals.
  8. I prefer number 1, I think it looks amazing on you. And, if it looks that good, why go through the hassle of getting something else and selling the other one. I say stick with the one you have. It looks great on you.
  9. Those are great prices, but for us Canadian's it was $30 in shipping. Makes the price not so great anymore. Why oh why do we get so screwed over on shipping. There must be some conspiracy against us, I wonder what we did to the shipping companies.
  10. We are still on the fence. We do not want to spend much money at all, but we can't do it in a backyard because it will be November when we get home. So, we don't know what to do. Renting a hall, any hall, will cost too much money. And, would it be cheesy if we made it potluck? Because paying for food would be so expensive. And then what do we do about drinks, we would have to provide somethings. See, too much money. We want to do it, but we don't want to spend the money.

We are having a lot of problems right now with my rings, so I will not go where we bought the rings, and when we finally get them I will look into this. How long does it usually take? Any idea?

How long does it usually take? I think its a nice idea. I have some things in mind to put on in, our date for sure, so he remembers our anniversarys. lol
  13. The store we ordered our BM dresses at said we needed 4 months. Any earlier than that and we would have had to pay a rush fee. I do not know the company you are ordering from, but most companys do not stop selling a style due to season. You can usually get any style and any colour at any time of the year. That is because most people order them way in advance.
  14. Hey April, I was a BM in a wedding at Sunscape the Beach in Punta Cana in April 2005. If you have any questions, let me know. Welcome to the forum, you will love it here.

I'm so glad they figured it out.. but now I keep thinking I'm going to get some of them returned as insuffient postage.. can you imagine??!! What kind of envelopes did you use to send out your luggage tags? I did hear someone talking about their thicker package costing more. I guess for the girls that aren't there yet, take a protocal of your final project to the post office before purchasing stamps. The thing is I took in exactly what I was mailing out. I guess for some reason she did not think about thickness, because she just weighed them and said 52 cents and then sold me the stamps. So, even though I brought exactly what I was mailing out, they still told me the wrong amount.
  16. I am not help because I still have no idea. Yes, our wedding is in 1 month, 3 weeks and 6 days and I have no idea. I mentioned gifts to him and he said we don't need to do that. But, I still feel like I should give him something on our wedding day. So, I have no idea what I am going to do. Money is tight, so it can't be too pricey. Sorry, I told you I would be no help. lol
  17. I had a similar problem last week when I went to send out my luggage tags. The first time I went they weighed them and told me they were the standard rate of 0.52 cents. Well, when I stamped them all, and went back to send them, the new person told me that they are thicker than a standard envelope and I had to pay $1.10 each. So, I had to buy more stamps and they look so stupid because each one has 2 0.52 stamps and a 0.6 stamp on them. Oh well, they went out, but I was so mad. I am so glad it was there mistake and you did not have to pay more, its not fun.
  18. I thought I would post this site incase some of you have never seen it. Wedding Hairstyles Gallery | Brides.com That it he updo part, there is also a section for half up, and down. I hope it helps someone.
  19. I can't wait to hear about it. But Tammy is right, there better be pictures, or we will make you find some to post. lol I went to a bachelorette party yesterday and there are lots of pics and really, there should not have been any. She is going to die when she sees them. She was way to drunk to have a clue, lol. I hope that does not happen to you. Wait, I do hope it happens to you, she had a blast and got lots and lots of bedroom fun products.
  20. That was funny, but I have actually heard most of those jokes at weddings before. The fornication and the as long as the groom makes love part were new though, and very very funny. I am sure I will hear them at a wedding soon. lol
  21. I am going to wear the just married ones for my TTD, the next day. And probably every day after that. lol They would be cute walking away, but I know I will forget to have them handy.
  22. I remember the ladies on this forum helped you pick which dress to wear for vegas and which to wear for Mexico. You made the right choice. Congratulations and I can't wait to hear all about it.
