I bet that is what was going on.

I am jealous as well, but you do work damn hard for it, so you deserve it. I think grandma will be okay with you wearing the necklace to your legal and not the beach wedding. Just tell her that is what you are doing because your dress has silver in it, so it does not go. Be honest. You can take off the chain and get a pin and pin the pendant to the inside of your dress, if you want. I love the earrings, I say get them. Or, go for something a little more dangly, I love dangly (but I do not wear earrings, so I know how you feel, I just like the look on other people). I love both barrettes, but especially love the second one, the flower. I also think you should get Edyta's hair do. Get a glitzy bracelet as well, what way you have enough bling to not need a necklace. Or, if you want a necklace, I really think any style of necklace would look good, just make it the same colour and style as your earrings, silver with diamonds (fake of course). Does that make sense. I really do think you can't go wrong with the style of this dress and anything you choose, as long as its silver, you are right about gold not going so well. (At least that is how it looks from the pictures)

Tammy, no one deserves that painting more then you. We are so happy to do this for you and for animal rescue. We can't wait to see a picture of it hanging in whatever room you decide to put it in. We are hoping for the baby room, but you do with it what you will, its yours. Thank you for being a great person, a great listener and almost always on here to help us all out. Its the least we could do.

Angela, you look amazing in your dress. Its beautiful. I think a neckalce would look good though, but if you want long dangly earings, then you are night, no necklace. I can't wait to see your pics, they are going to be awesome.

I think its disgusting. I never charge people to taste my cake, I just make them a few cupcakes so they know what they taste like. I think you should look for another bakery, this one does not seem to be a good one in my opinion. They are in it for the money and that is all.

I am also in. I already emailed the mods to try to get this set up. lol Great minds think alike. PM me when the money is due.

I am very very confused with her response. I make cakes, and my teacher who has been making cakes for a million years (Bonnie Gordon), taught us to always use Fondant in hot weather and never butter cream unless its in major air conditioning because it melts really fast, its butter, but with some sugar added and you know how butter melts. Unless they are not using REAL butter cream icing and adding something else to it like icing sugar, then that might play a role, I only make real buttercream icing. I have never ever had a problem with my fondant holding up. I made a cake for a backyard party in the middle of summer and it was a hot humid day and it held up great. It gets a little soft after being out for a while, but you can't tell that until you cut into it. I think the issue is that fondant is also more expensive. It could also be an issue of who makes their fondant, maybe its not as good as the fondant you can get here. Sorry for the long post, but I really am confused. I would say fondant over buttercream anyday, but that is using my fondant, so I am not sure. You can make buttercream very very smooth, I have done this myself, they just have to be good at it. Maybe you should ask them for some pictures of thier buttercream cakes.

We did not want my step-dad (FH's dad is not coming, he does not fly) to look the same as the guys, I think the GM's should stand out a little more. Our colours are pink and chocolate brown. The GM's are wearing khaki greeny pants and white shirts and my step-dad is wearing chocolate brown pants with a white shirt and pink tie. He really wanted to wear a tie, so I said that was fine. I think it will look good in pics. My mom is in black and red though, lol. She offered to get pink instead to match better, but she already bought the red stuff so I told her not to worry.

Actually, I just looked at the pic again, and I think that is what the groom in the pic is wearing. lol

Pink would look sooo good, but I understand where he is coming from, sorta. I think white shirt and white tie. I love that look. The tie can have a little texture to it, like polka dots or stripes (they are white as well so they don't stand out). It looks really good altogether. Kinda like this, but not. lol

I went to my boot camp tonight, she just keeps making it harder, I guess that is a good thing, but it nevers feels like I am getting better. Especially with the running, I am not a good runner at all. Anyway, I think I will feel the pain tomorrow, but it was a good thing. Only 3 more classes left, it makes me a little sad actually, I really like it a lot.
