alternative bachlorette party ideas?
JulieG replied to boscobel's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I have not read what everyone else did yet, but mine is next weekend and this is the plan. My sister is having it at her house. First off its a pyjama party and a sleepover, so everyone wears their pj's. She hired 2 people to come to her house to give us all manicures and pedicures (you pay for what you want done). Then, when that is done we have 2 instructors bringing poles and teaching us all how to pole dance. We all have to put on a dance at the end, each of us, its going to be sooo funny. We will of course be tipsy at least. Then, we are all hanging out for the night and having a slumber party. My sister has games and things planned and we are all bringing our favorite drink so we can share with everyone. And I was asked what all my favorite foods are so that we can have them all there. I am so excited, the shower, not so much, this, I can't wait. -
Heidi, my heart dropped when I read this. I am so so upset for you. I don't know what to say. I wanted to try to make a joke and make you laugh, but I don't think anything will help. Please do as Tammy said and try your best to find out the Why, if that is possible. Big Hugs! I wish I could come and visit you and give you a hug and help you drown your sorrows in a bunch of fruity drinks with lots of alcohol in them. Why oh why can't I be rich! Maybe I should have married for money. My thoughts are with you and know that I am here whenever you need to talk. Anytime.

As if you care if he misses dinner with his GF, like you have no life of your own that he inconvenienced as well. I would be mad too. I am going to keep working out, I am going to try to step it up in the next few weeks, but I am so busy that I just hope I can fit it in.

I went to my bootcamp last night and it was tough, yet again. Its great that she always changes it up, but no so great that its so damn hard. I am feeling it today. I only have 1 week of bootcamp left and then I need to get my ass to the gym everynight if possible. Not much time left till 51 people see me in my swimsuit.

Dear Boss, You knew when you hired me that I did not know Estate Law and what to do. But, you said you would train me and that you were not worried about it. Well, don't get mad at me when things are wrong even though I gave them to you and asked you to review them and you signed them and said they were good, but then then complain weeks later when you found out something was wrong or missing. Maybe if you had a little time to teach me what to do instead of never being in the office and leaving me to stress and pull my hair out and deal with mad clients because things are not getting done as fast as they want then I might know what I am doing. Instead you make me want to cry and pull my hair out. I was having a great day untill this. Now I want to vomit.

I am putting one on every other chair and putting bubbles on the other chairs. So, whoever sits there will get it. I hope people will use both things, but who knows.

to the forum, you are going to love it here. Sol is a great photographer so we all know your pics are going to be amazing. Great choice. Happy planning.

I did a google search and thought I would post this, just in case you are like me and trying to decide which site to use: "In this review of five online printing services, the editors test and rate "everything from image-editing features to delivery options to print sizes." Kodak EasyShare Gallery is the top choice because of its good print quality. Snapfish is the second choice. Editors liked its "good prints and reasonable prices." Shutterfly has good prints but higher prices. Yahoo!'s printing is inconsistent but the service has numerous editing features. Wal-Mart Photo Center is the last choice due to its "dismal print quality." Here is the whole article. PC World - Online Photo Services Shootout

I know one that I did once just had little buttons and hidden loops that you put on the buttons, literally took 5 minutes. Mine, is not so simple, she said it was, but I didn't think so. It has all these ribbons that have to be tied. I think Hailey will remember most of it, at least she knows where the hidden strings are (that was her favorite part) and I think I remember most of the rest, I'll just have to direct someone. don't worry about eating a few bad things, at least you worked out, go eat some protein & veggies before it gets too late. I think its so cute that Hailey was with you and will help you bustle your dress. Yay, I can't wait to see the pics.

I went to try my dress on last night because she's done with the alterations. I had some doubts the first time I went because it was too long and just didn't seem right. But when I tried it on last night I loved it so much, it looks so much better now that she adjusted the neckline and hemmed it, etc... I will miss you girls so much, I can't wait to see the first Voila! I hope its before I leave! Jill, did you take new pics? I can't wait to see you on your wedding day. I had such a bad day food wise. After lunch I ate fruit snacks, a 100 calorie chocolate bar, a cookie that FMIL made, ummm I think that's it. But it was a bad afternoon. lol And, I have not eaten dinner yet because I just got back from boot camp and I was too upset before I went. UGHHHHH!!! Bad day.

Susan, when do you leave?

No I'm going to start watching again but not as hardcore as the last 2 weeks.... Julie you look amazing and like the girl said your dress doesn't need you to lose any more weight. This will probably be one of my last posts... i hope you girls do ok with the last little bit of time you have. Thanks Jill for all your help as well, you're an inspiration to me. You've done so well this entire time too. Love ya girls... I'll be on the lookout for Voila! You will be the first to post Voila So we will be on the look out for it. You need to post all your stuff, if you have time of course. Yay to the love handles. He could have said it a little nicer, but its still nice to hear

Shoes for Sale - Touch Ups Divine- Size 8
JulieG replied to cheese_diva's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
I love them, but I am a size 6 and already bought 2 pairs of shoes for my wedding. lol So, I will pass but someone will take you up on this offer, they are great. -
Jen, no need to apologize for the hijack, this is all about getting things off our chest. I am so glad you declined and did not give her anything. I don't think she deserves another gift from you for as long as she lives. Maybe she will make it up to you with your shower and/pr wedding. I really hope she does. That is pretty disgusting acknowledging your engagement in a thank you card and not sending a card for it or even calling you. I really hope for her sake she sees the light soon.

So, I had a panzarotti for lunch today. Not good. I just felt like I needed it, its been an emotionally draining day and I only had yoghurt for breakfast (time problem) so I pigged out at lunch. I feel so tired and blah now and wish I didn't, but I did. Luckily I have boot camp tonight and can work some of it off. But, its not going to be good for my weigh in tomorrow (I weigh myself every Friday). And, its Thanksgiving here this weekend, eeek, its going to be a bad one.

Their loss IMO. Great, TRUE, friends are hard to come by. Again... their loss.. She faaaar from has money problems. Her very rich parents paid for her whole wedding and then their 3 week honeymoon in Europe and there was 200 people at her wedding and they all gave her money. She just got married this May as well, so its not like she forgets what I gave her. Ooooh, makes me mad. Oh well, good riddance. Do I have to send her a thank you card? I don't want to, but I feel like I need to.

At least she is still young, only 30, she has lots of time to hopefully fall in love again someday. I really want that for her. It is just around the corner, its pretty scary. Thanks for this thread Tammy, it helped me to say and think about some things I was holding inside. I am soooo pissed at my friend who sent me $40 in a card, maybe that is rude, but I spent $300 on her shower presents and wedding and got her what she wanted and went to stuff for her, and she can't show up at anything for me, or get a thoughtful gift, she just threw $40 in a card like I was someone she worked with and not a really good friend. I am so glad I can tell people that. I can't tell anyone in my life except for FH who was sooo pissed as well. I don't want anyone to think I am being a bitch. lol
