  1. I went to boot camp tonight. Woo hoo its hard. Good hard, but hard.
  2. My DH hates flip flops and open toe shoes. He was gonna look for closed toe sandles and then decided since he was in a suit he wanted dress shoes. So he bought really great brown ones and they looked awesome. Tell him to wear what makes him happy.
  3. Wow Laura you are beautiful, who knew, you can't tell in your small little signature picture. You two looked stunning. I can't wait to see the rest of the pro pics. Sounds like you got a great photographer.
  4. Those look amazing. Wow, great friend. I love the magnet and the enclosures. You must be so happy.
  5. Also for the wedding day survival kit: -White chalk (for spots on dress, do not use any stain remover, they dye some white materials yellow and its permanent) -Thread in the colour of the brides dress and BM dresses -Black socks (in case the groom or one of the GM's forgets) -Hair spray -blotting powder -tooth brush/tooth paste -dental floss -clear bandaids -Band Aid Anti Blister stick (to put on before she puts on her shoes to prevent blisters - its awesome stuff I swear by it) -Crazy glue -Pepto -immodium -benadryl -earring backs -lint brush -mouthwash -hand lotion -scissors That is all I can think of for now. I have made a survival kit 3 times now and the brides always love it.
  6. I love them as well. I might have to go and get them. Hallmark you said right?
  7. I put this in the other post, but will put it here as well. Heidi, I think you should get them necklaces to wear for the wedding. Most BM's do not buy a necklace for the wedding because the bride usually gets them one. So, you might want to get that and put it in a bigger box that way it takes up quite a bit of the purse space. My BM's loved the necklace I got them and I think they worked out to $11 each from ebay. And I know you get get them way cheaper than that on ebay, I was just really picky. What about a manicure kit as well, those are pretty cheap.
  8. She is sooo cute, look at those lips, so perfect. Congratulations.
  9. Jill everything looks great. I love your dress, its stunning. I also love the coolers, good job. I can't wait to see pics and hear all about it. Its going to be fabulous.
  10. I also picked shaved. lol I also love it in your profile pic Reggie. But, I think you should have it whatever way you and Heidi both like it the best. Reggie you need to feel like you look like yourself in your pics and Heidi needs to like it as well. So, you both need to agree on something together.
  11. Welcome to the forum and happy planning. I can't wait to hear all about Spain, we don't have anyone that has been married there yet. Can't wait for pics.

Curt sent me an email on our 2 week anniversary and said "it was 2 weeks ago today that you said I Do and Ava said I wanna snack Julie". He said lots of really nice things, but I will keep those to myself.

Thank you Christa, that is so sweet of you to say. I was so worried about my dress in the end. I lost a bit of weight and it did not fit me like it did when I first bought it and because of the corset back and the the lace and blah blah blah I could not change it enough, so it was kinda big on me and I wished it fit like it did when I first got it. lol If I had known I would have bought it a size smaller, but they say to never do that in case you don't. Anyway, I am rambling, but I was worried about the dress.

I never even tried on the Maggie, I did not know it existed till I posted my dress and someone else posted the Maggie and I realised it was a knock off.
  15. I am not really a new bride, but I will still play. This is the model (I actually got the knock off at David's, but I can't get the pic from there site, so here is the Maggie dress).
  16. Wow, you looked beautiful. Your dress was stunning. I love the reception set up. Everything looks great.
  17. We did TTD a lot different. We did the whole bridal party and no sexy pics, DH was not into that at all. So, here are some of ours.
  18. I am the odd person out here, I did not want want a shower. I did not want people who were spending a lot of money to come to my wedding to get me any gifts. My bridal party decided they were throwing me one no matter what. Fine, but I refused to register. I felt if I registered I was asking people to buy us things and I did not want them to spend money on us, use that money to come to the wedding. I will admit I had a great time at the shower and I was so happy to see everyone, but still was not comfortable with the gifts part. So, I think its totally a personal thing. If you want a shower and you want to register then you should do that. There are no rules for a DW, we make them up as we go along
  19. Some more from TTD day. I think I will have to wait till tonight to get the actual TTD ones up, sorry guys but I leave here in 5 mins.
