I am going to ditto what Carly said. You really do need to try on EVERY dress you can before you find the right one. I got a dress that was totally not what I was looking for or thought would look good on me, but as soon as I put it on I loved it. Totally not the style I thought would look good. So, just try them all on, you might be suprised at what looks good on you. Fingers crossed that you get a dress soon.

I don't think its rude. I think its strange that they would do that, I personally would have stayed at a sister resort, but I have been a DW bride, so I would like about the bide and what might bother her, people who don't know what its like would not think about that. I don't think she went there to control your wedding, she got a good deal and decided to jump on it and I understand that. If when you get there she starts acting sort of bossy, tell her that you are excited to figure these things out on your own and really don't want her opinion, but in a nice way of course. If she has a bad attitude and starts to say bad things, they cut her off right away. If she truly has good things to say that might help you, then I think you should hear her out. I think you are doing the right thing by just letting it go, there is nothing you can do about it, so why stress about it.

Congratulations Patti. You looked stunning and so happy. Your pictures are beautiful and it sounds like everything went perfectly. I am so glad your grand daughter is better.

I really think your TA was trying to do something nice and did do something nice. You can still do OOT bags, just put something different in there, there is a huge wealth of information and great ideas on this forum I am positive you will find other items to give your guests. AND, when you make the bags you also make a tag that thanks your guests for coming and is from you and your FI, so they will know they are not from your TA. I really don't think she tried to "Steal your thunder" at all, she is being thoughtful and kind and nothing else.

I can't remember what the limit was. I think it was 3 or 4. Not less than 3 for sure.

They don't steam them, Yaly offered to have my ironed when I asked to have it steamed. LMAO, I told her thank you but no. I did was Sara recommended. I hung it up in the shower and steamed it whenever I had a chance. It was perfect on my wedding day.

We did decide on how we wanted the tables, I brought her a seating chart and they did exactly what I asked. There is not way to close off the beach, but there was another wedding at the same time as ours and they were far away, we could not hear them at all and was as private as it can be on a huge open beach. We loved it.

I am going to have to think on this one, too many great people to choose from. Can't wait to hear the exciting news.

I honestly would be bothered by that. Not that its bad luck, but that is my ring, no one should be trying that on unless I tell them its okay. Now people have tried my ring on, but that is because I let them. I hope his FI doesn't find out about that, cause I can see that bothering her for sure. Not because of bad luck, but because its her ring.

I really don't think its a big deal at all. My MIL thought she was supposed to get a dress that matched my wedding colours, but I told her my colours were pink and brown and she asked if she could get a different colour (not liking those colours) and I told her to get whatever she wanted. I really don't think its an issue. If it really upsets you, you really should have told her that you didn't want her to match the bridesmaids, I think she thinks she is supposed to match them. Can you tell her that you wanted the BM's to stand out and so you want only them to wear sage green and is it possible to get a dress in another colour?

I don't think any place should EVER say "no infants allowed" that is discrimination. Would it be okay if it excluded anyone else for any reason what-so-ever? No, it would not. If you don't want to hear the baby, move tables or leave, they have as much right to be there as you do.

Yup, and its cheap, I think it cost us 35 CUC's. I thought it was going to be super cheesy, but its actually not to bad, its kinda cute I say this because I am so not into wedding video's, so I was expecting it to be terrible, but I actually like it.

It was a hilarious episode for sure. I love that Pam is pregnant, that is so cute.
