    That thank you note was perfect. I love it. I too think its really funny, he mouth is going to drop when she reads it, then she will just get upset because YOU got the gifts, he gave them to his WIFE and YOU thanked her, not him. I love it.

    Jessica, it would totally bug me. Totally. But I agree with what others have said, you should keep the stuff and write a thank you note from your perfect little family. A note coming from you will really bug her and I think that is the best revenge. She will know that stuff was brought right home to YOU. She is just crazy.

    Can you post some pics of the dresses? You should never let someone pressure you into buying a dress, but it happens. We all wonder if we got the right dress, I know I did, and still do, I loved my dress but there are so many beautiful ones out there. I can't change it now, and I don't want to, but its a hard decision to make. Did you love it? Did you feel good in it?

    Welcome to the forum Toni. We have lots of girls who come on here and plan their weddings before they get their rings, so no worries there. Actually we were planning our wedding before we were officially engaged, I think its common for a DW because as soon as you decide you want one us women have to look into it as much as possible and voila we find this forum.     Those are so nice Shelley, I love the starfish santa and I love love the colour of your bouquet starfish, I had the same one I think, I loved it. Lauren, I want you to know that I am wearing the pj's right now and I love them. They fit perfectly and are sooooo comfy. Thank you.

    Heidi, first off congratulations!!! That is great news. Second, yes you can negotiate time off, I have done that with all my jobs. So, just do it. All they can do is say no. I say you take it anyway, you are miserable in your job and that is not worth any of the extra perks, you need to be happy because you spend a lot of time at your job.

    I was torn between pimp slap and Hobbit. I chose hobbit because I don't think you should wear it. Just keep it in your drawer or something. Its supposed to be a special ring to symbolize the day you get married, I would not have wanted DH to wear it before the wedding day. It somehow makes it less special in my mind.

    Do not worry about it, we are not in a rush, we are just excited. Whenever you have a chance, we can wait for it. Worry about feeling better and show Martin the pics first.

    Yay, I got my gift today. Lauren C is my secret santa. She first sent me an Amazon gift card, then today I got a great gift in the mail. I got pj's, socks and a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip lip balm, yum! Here is the pic I have not tried the pj's on yet, but they look like they will fit perfect. I love them. Thank you so much.
