Getting married is Cuba was the easiest part of the whole wedding, it is so easy, do not stress about it at all. Its more complicated here because you have to get a marriage license and then have your certificate sign by your minister or JOP and sent into the govt and you still have to wait for all of that till you can change your name. Its easier in Cuba. JMHO

Lisa I am so glad to hear it was all so perfect. I feel the same way about my wedding and it was 3 years ago, seems like they are only getting better at PP.

I went to the Mayan last June with my 2 year old and guess what, she never got kidnapped and we never got murdered, nor did the hundreds of other people at our resort!

Depending on where you are, there are lots of mennonites in Huron County that sell from their homes, so in St. Jacobs, etc. and the St. Jacob's farmers market. If you are closer to Ottawa, there are lots in the small town outside of there as well and they all see it pretty cheap. There must be somewhere online that you can get small bottles from for cheap as well.

Way to test my memory We got CUC's before we left, but only because my mom had connections at the bank and they told her to order well in advance, so tell your guests that, they can get it, but give the banks lots of time. We got lots of singles to use for tips. I think, but am not positive, that it was $20 to leave, but your TA should know the correct answer to that. I brought an adaptor and it didn't work, must have been a crap one, but you will need them if you plan to use anything from home. If I could find my letter, I could find my seating arrangement I think we did 8 people per table, with 5 tables and a head table. I think 8 was the most they could put per table, but Yaly would know the answer to that one. I would do a google search for info about the area and add that in for fun. I am pretty sure there is a map or 2 of the resort out there. Did I post my website on here anywhere? I had a lot of info on it. Let me see if I can find it, because I sure don't remember what it was. lol

Carly I was just about to quote the same thing. People actually did IN FACT say the whole week was about their wedding. Read the posts before you make a comment if you are going to say something is wrong, when its right there, for all to see. A lot of people were being bridezilla and saying a lot of me me me its all about me. Its not actually, the DAY is about you and FH, but not the whole trip. OP, I don't think anyone was specifically pointing you out, I was talking about all the whiners who think the whole week should be about them and everyone should bow down and do what they want on their vacations because on ONE of those days you happen to be getting married. I can see why you don't want him to propose before, and as long as you let him know to do it after, I don't think that is an issue. I do think its an issue to say he can't do it at all on his vacation, because he can, its his vacation.

Okay, I was just reading and not going to comment, but I can't not anymore. All of you women saying that the entire wedding WEEK is about me me me me me and my wedding and don't steal my thunder need to get a grip and come back down to reality. Seriously!!! These people love you and are spending a crap load of money to be there for your big DAY. The rest of the week is their vacation, because THEY paid for it, so they can do whatever the hell they want to on their vacation, that THEY paid for. If he wanted to propose on your wedding day, not so cool, but again, its his vacation, that HE paid for. He would look like an ass, but it wouldn't take away from your wedding, because all those people are there for you and your wedding. That is what they paid the big bucks for. So no one is going to take that away, because they are all there for the same reason, to see you and your FH get married and celebrate it with you. Why is it so wrong that they celebrate something else while they are there too Are you all going to tell them what they can and can't do while there for the week, hell no, and why not, because its their vacation, that THEY paid for. I think you get my point.

I picked orange, I love it, but I also love the idea of the blue vista, it just reminds me of the ocean and seems fitting. Just a thought, not trying to make it harder.

The DJ did all those things for us, the first dance, wedding party dance, mother and son dance, he announced them, I think I gave him a list. I put them all on the same cd, in the order I wanted them done and he did it. He was great. He also introduced the people for speeches.

I think the dress is perfect for a summer wedding as well, it has too much colour to be considered a white dress and its totally summery and cute.

OMG, I can't believe that, that is crazy sad news. I am so sorry for your loss. Do you have any information at all? Do they have a suspect I am hoping with all my might that you get some resolutions and closer soon. Big Hugs!!

It took about 4 months for me to get my wedding certificate, I didn't sign anything or do anything, but I got married in the off season, and when they didn't do so many weddings. I bet you its on its way, its just taking a while. Look for an email address for the resort and see if you can get Yaly's info that way. What do you mean her email is not working, its is bouncing back to you?

I didn't need to get my translated, I had no problems at all with it in Spanish, so don't waste the money unless you are told you have to

We are going there, just for vacation, on the 19th for 1 week. I can tell you all about the resort when we get back. I won't have any wedding info for you though
