I picked number 1, they are the classiest and nicest IMO, and you can dye them whatever colour you want. If you don't have your something blue, make them blue. If you love love love purple, make them purple. What colour are your BM dresses, because I think it would look really cool if they matched them. I also love the pink shoes, but if you BM's are not wearing pink, then I would not choose them.

Beth we are all thinking about you here and hoping you at least get a few of your family and friends to be there on your day. Give us an update when you can.

I DID NOT get charged for the wine and champagne that was served at my wedding, I think that might have been a mistake. The sports bar which is 24 hours is really close to the beach, our guests who wanted liquor or beer went there. There is also bathroom's there. The seafood restaurant is close, but at night its set up for dinner, so you can't really go there for drinks. Ask Yaly about getting charged for the drinks, because we were not charged it was part of the meal.

Our beach BBQ was also at 7. I think that is the time it starts if your reception is at 4 (ours was at 4). Congrats on getting the date and time sorted out, that makes it so real and exciting.

Sorry that I got really pissed off and was mean about it, but I felt really bad for all the new brides who want to do a sand ceremony and have a garter and are now reconsidering because someone said they are cheesy. It is hard to display what we really mean when just typing, so in future please think before you tell people that something they are doing is cheesy I hope you find that special something new that you are looking for.

Wow Kara, I am so very sorry that this is happening to you. Is there any possible way that you could change your location and still get married? Like can you go to Cuba or Jamaica or the Dominican or somewhere else? I would just hate for you to have to cancel your wedding altogether because of this silliness. I can't believe they actually canceled the flights, cowards!! Its the flu for f&%#sakes! I had the flu twice this year and guess what, I am still alive, idiots!

I really don't think you should tell your WC about talking to the consulate. Seriously you do not want to piss her off, your whole wedding is in her hands, you want to be nothing but nice to her. I say just get married on the Thursday and it will be perfect and you still have a whole day after the wedding before you leave, it sounds great to me. This is just my opinion, but your WC can either make or break your day, so why would you want to chance making her mad?

I really think you should not come to a forum where several people wore garter belts and had sand ceremonies, myself included and say its cheesie!!!! I was told by my WC at the resort that we did not have to be there any specific amount of time, it just had to be a day that the notary was there. We got there on Saturday at 1 AM and I got married on Wednesday at 4:00 (I chose Wednesday as my day) and my WC told me I could get married any day. She would know. Ask the WC at your resort, that is the best way to get the correct answer. I got married in Holguin, but I am pretty sure the rules would be the same in all of Cuba.

I was going to tell you I like number 5, but I see that you decided on that already, I am a little late on this thread. I was also going to tell you to leave Dildo on your stuff. I have family from NFLD so I know Dildo and if you know the place, you don't find it funny at all, its just the town. Those who do find it funny, so what they get to have a little laugh, it doesn't make you look bad or anything. So I am glad you decided to leave it in, the town is a very important bit of information

I would not worry about this at all, its everywhere right now, its here in Canada as well. So if you are going to get it, you are going to get it, you can get it at home just as easily as in Mexico, so don't stress about it.

If you do have your photog photoshop them out, be prepared for your friend to be really hurt by that. If she is a really good friend, which I am guessing she is, then her feelings should matter more to you than a small tattoo in your pictures. But if vanity is more important than your friend and her feelings, then go ahead and get rid of a part of her, just be prepared for the outcome.
