Okay Jilly, I took your advice and started weight watchers again. I am doing the Wendy Plan though, not sure if you guys know what that is or not, its WW with a twist. Anyway, the first week is always the hardest, so I was not perfect, but I weighed myself today and I am down 2 lbs. So, I am very proud of myself for doing so well in the first week. I am back on WW and in this thread from now on. YAY!! I think

Although, she did say if we go to her, we could get free engagement photo's, but, that is if we sign a contract to use her. So, we would have to pay, and we just can't do that right now. Its a great idea though.

I think it looks great. I will have to try it out. Was it hard to make? -

Sorry for the post above, I missed the part where it said free wedding TRIAL. lol Wedding announcer is totally free, so I will go with it for now. I need to save wherever I can.

I talked to the WC there and they will do the whole thing on the beach, that is what I wanted. The other WC's would not even really talk to me cause I had not booked their resorts yet. So, I will not be going there

I feel like as long as tone your arms you don't really have to worry about much more. And this way they will be able to dance in it and eat and not feel like they are going to pop out of it. My friend went to the store in NYC but they were no help. It was so weird they wouldn't tell her the price! I don't know if you would have better luck with this but by all means if you can find out the price I would greatly appreciate it! Btw, we saw the rapper Eve wearing the dress in this weeks US Weekly and last weeks In Touch. She is wearing a white version with a thin black sash across the waist. It looks really pretty. If we can't get these then maybe someone can make imitations for me? I don't know. -Glenda Oh Glenda, I would not want them in white I agree, only the bride should be in white. I just assumed they came in other colours Since they are only available in the US, I would not be able to get them anyway, my BM's would have to try them on first, so its not something I can do, but, I will look for a style like it, I love it. -

I am going to contact the list of people you gave me tonight and see what they are charging. Thank you for your help, I will let you know how it works out.

Those dresses are so nice Glenda, I was just wondering about the price myself. I love #9, but totally figured it would cost way to much. Let me know if you find out the prices though. I love them. -

Girls I have a lot of time on my hands so that is why I have done some stuff! Also I have a craft table set up in our house with all my wedding stuff on it so I can work on it whenever. It's always out so it reminds me that I have to finish everything! You will all finish everything don't worry!!! When you say you "made" your logo's, did you do it yourself? I would really love to do it myself if I can. I would love to tell people I made them I like being crafty, and then I would know how to do them and could help others make them. Let me know. Anny, can you make them? -

If not, you better get your butt to the gym I decided to take today off, I am still sore from my class on Tuesday, I did do cardio yesterday though, so I decided I could take today off. I can't go tomorrow either, but I will be there on Saturday for sure. I will let you know when I need motivation for that

I hear what you are all saying. Maybe I will keep looking, and if I can't afford another one, I will go with her. Thanks so much guys.

Alright, thank you all so much for your comments, I really appreciate them. I will ask her to see more of her work, that is good advice. As for the price, she is trying to make a name for herself in DW Photography, so, she is new at it. That is why she is only charging for the flights. You also have to remember that this price includes no pictures, just the digital negatives, so, she is not printing anything for me or giving me anything more than the negatives. Also, we do have a budget, moving to a new city, where I don't have a job, buying a house and getting married all between March 9 and Oct 21 when we leave. So, money is tight. I will look at more of her work though, I think that is a great suggestion. Did you guys look at her other work or just the wedding gallery, there is also brides and grooms and another one, I think those are better.

That said, I think the not so stunning shots were because of the location...wood paneling? Ewww! You are getting married in Cuba, right? I would imagine that is a difficult place to find photogs or to get photogs to travel to - American's have to circumvent the system by flying to Mexico first to get to Cuba last I checked. And, in Cuba you are going to have a stunning backdrop. I honestly think that was the only problem I had with some of the photos on her site - because on here we are used to seeing the ocean & the beach & such. I really don't know what your expectations are, but I think you could make this one work to your benefit! Thank you, I was thinking the same thing. If you look at her other galleries, like bride & groom and I think wedding day or something like that, those all look nice as well. I think for that deal, she might be worth trying out. I agree, some of the pics are not the best, but I am thinking she was doing what she could with what she had to work with. She also does another day of free photos as well, say welcome dinner or something like that, its our choice.

Help with my MONOGRAM
JulieG replied to SASSYGIRL's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
Okay Sarah, those look amazing. Did you make the logo yourself on your computer? If not, Anny, do you know how to do that? Also, I too want to know where you got your bags from, I love the black, it looks really nice. -
Alright, can you tell me what you think of this photog's work. Her fee is to pay for the flight for her and her assistant and she takes the pictures for free and charges $400 for all the digital negatives. Its a great fee. So, I want you to be honest about what you think about her work. Wedding Portfolio :: Owen Sound Wedding Photographer :: Photography Grey/Bruce Thanks guys. (Tammy, I did not know where to put this thread, so I hope this is okay)

Alright, I have been busy, so have not posted in a while, but I have gone to the gym every day this week, Mon did 45 mins elliptical, Tues did pump class at the gym and today, 40 mins on elliptical. Thank god I can go to the gym at lunch or I would never get there.

We were not supposed to have one, but now 2 of his close friends probably can not make it to the wedding. So, he wants to do one. We are talking about it. If we do though, it will be simple for sure, maybe a BBQ, something not too expensive because we will have a lot of people for sure. At least then we can register for gifts, if we have one. I was missing that part of getting married

If anyone out there has ordered one, I would love to know what you thought of it. If the quality is good, etc...

Since you are into the idea of becoming a wedding planner you may want to make your own. I know a lot of people who have made them on their own and had great success. 2. If you really want the one that Christine posted you can have it mailed to me and then I will mail it to you. I have a shipping place by my job. And it usually gets to Canada in 7 to 10 business days. -Glenda I want it to be really nice though, can I make a nice one myself, I am not sure. Maybe I should look into it. You are right Thanks so much for the offer, I might take you up on it. You are too kind and so helpful. Thanks so much.
