  2. I just realised that you are 10 years younger than me, lol, so maybe you are fine. I had to get the Twinrix though, so other Canadian brides who are not youngins like Courtney, ask your DR. about it.

Anyways, the nurse told me they last a long time... for some reason I'm thinking 5 or 9 years. Either way, I'm in the clear. But if you don't have your shots - definately get it. It's better to be safe than sorry! Umm.. are you sure about that Courtney. I had to get a Twinrix shot which is for A and B together, before I went to Thailand and it lasts forever. My DR said no matter what we got in highschool, the shots have changed and I should get this one. Its free, so ask your DR if you can get it. Its 3 shots, and I have a huge fear of needles, but its worth it.

I do not have mine yet and we are 3 months away. lol If it was up to me though, we would have had them months ago, but my sister was pregnant and wanted to wait till she had the baby. She is my MOH, so I said we could wait. Hopefully we are getting them this week though.

That is a good thing to tell all DW brides, listen to her, its soooo true. I know it will work out for you, it will all be perfect and what you dreamed of, you just need to get through this part. We all have crappy things we need to get through before the wedding, trust me, WE ALL DO!! It will work out in the end.

I had really wanted to bring our son to the country that his daddy was born in. Oh I am just getting angrier, and angrier... Sorry, but that was too nice of you. It is YOUR wedding, not their vacation. I wish you had asked us before you changed locations, we all would have told you HELL NO! Your FH should bring that up when he talks to him mom, you changed for THEM, they better get their asses there.

LOL You know what, you do not know them all that well, so chances are they will totally do their own thing, and you will not have to deal with them at all. For real, when I was a BM at a DW, we all did our own thing a lot, we wanted the bride and groom to not feel stressed or like they had to hang out with us.
  8. This is just crazy, and I feel so bad that you have to deal with this. As a side note though, if they don't come, you don't have to deal with them while you are away and they will feel like total assholes for missing your wedding. (Worst case of course). You need to get your FH to call his mother NOW and tell her its serious and she has to pay for it, charge it, take out a loan, whatever, its your SONS wedding.

I am going with a top tier 6" that serves 12 and then 3 tiers below full of cupcakes about 40 total with buttercream frosting and sugar daisies on top of each cupcake. She quoted $92 for the top cake and $4.25 I think per each cupcake...plus $15 delivery and $30 stand rental... I just love the cupcakes.... $4.25 per cupcake!!! Man, I wish I was making cakes in Los Cabos instead of Barrie, Ontario. I charge $1.25 and some people think that is too much. lol
  11. That is a beautiful dress!!! I wish a size 2/4 would fit me, but not in this lifetime!!

Do you happen to know the style number? Don't look it up or anything, if you don't know, I can search for it.
  13. I have always been told that purses do not count. When I was a BM last year at a wedding in the DR, I carried on my purse, BM dress in a garmet bag and a whellie carry on case. No one even looked at me strange, so I do not think its a problem at all. Your Travel Agent should be able to tell you though, or call the airline, they will tell you. Most actually have luggage allowances on their website.
  14. OMG!!! That was amazing. Sarah, you and Ricky are sooo cute together, that is one hot couple. I love the pictures, you guys look so happy and so in love and so perfect. I also love your BM dress, they are great. Where did you get them? Juan, another amazing job, not that I am surprised.
  15. Also, my sister bought a paper parasol when we were in China Town in Toronto a few years ago, so they have them there as well.
  16. This site has cherry blossom ones 32-Inch Cherry Blossoms Paper Parasol: Please call to pre order, estimated availability July 15 - CU27 That would be nice for you. Or the girls, just a thought.
  17. Welcome to the forum. I really hope someone on here can help you with your questions. Sorry, but I don't know anything about that area.
  18. I found these ones on amazon that look awesome and perfect for me. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...n-wedding.html These ones look good as well. Amazon.com: Port & Company Polypropylene Tote Bag (B155): Apparel

  20. WOW!!! Those are stunning. I am speachless. Wow. Sarah, you are so beautiful and you guys look so very happy. I love every minute of it. Your luminere's (sp?) turned out amazing, they look so great, now I want to make them. Just breathtaking!! Great work Juan.
  21. If I did not already have a dress and if I was a size 4 (only in my dreams), I would totally buy it, I love love your dress.
  22. I went and saw my trainer at 8:30 this morning. I decided I love working out in the morning, I feel great right now. Anyway, she kicked my butt, again. We did full body strength and 20 mins of hard cardio.

Tonight, though, I got home and forced myself to do the routine again. Of course I'm starting with the toughest dance, the Jive, but it's the dance I've always wanted to learn. I did the 5 minute warm up, 5 of the 10 minute Jive, and then the 5 minute cool down. Seriously, the cool down was actually harder than the dance. I was more out of breath after it. But here I am, and hour and a half later, and if my knee wasn't hurting so badly, I'd go back down there! I've always loved to dance and watch dancing but never took lessons, so this is perfect for me!! Okay, enough rambling....I guess I could have just said I worked out, haha!! That sounds awesome, where would I get that workout DVD? I want it!
