isnt it cold there? just kidding. ok calgary too! although im not sure about the cost of flights to canada. might need to make it a two day event to make it affordable for me to come there.

sounds like youre gettting some good advice. its easier to start visualizing your day once you have the place. then i would start thinking about photographers. i already have about 7 weddings for next year. things seem to be filling up faster than the year before. after you get those things out of the way id move on to the dress!!! and how fun is that! sometimes i miss wedding planning. i wish i could go dress shopping. congrats

we shot at a house in mission bay. i shot a wedding there last year and just decided to email the owner and as her if we could use the house. she said - sure!

it is too bad! ive always told couples who hire me and get married at resorts in mexico to put me on the guest list. ive never had a problem. maybe all the brides can unite and put a stop to this policy! you have a right to hire whomever you want to photograph your wedding!!!

still waiting on darn model! models!!! i so would have rather found an excited bride to be or someone. im sitting here in a room with 5 wedding gowns and no one to put in them i dont think sol and matt are here. i think matt and i emailed about it a week or so ago and he said they werent coming. i could be wrong though. matt if youre here were going to the double down salon tonight! home of the bacon martini and something called "ass juice". tammy feel free to censor!

hey ladies! im in vegas right now. working hard and doing lots of cool photography related things! i just saw this thread and had to stop and say a great big thanks for all your kind comments!!! i feel so lucky to be getting to know all of you and shooting some of your weddings, boudoir, and engagement sessions. ive really had a lot of fun here. and as you can see stop by at least once a day to see whats new ok, now im off to the desert to shoot a "model bride" (if she shows, theyve been very wishy washy all week!!!) and im sure there will be some great dress trashing with all the wind and dust flying around!!! woohoo. back with pics soon. have a great day! - leigh

ok! deep breath. but go find a dress!!! nicole miller has beautiful wedding dresses that might not take as long to get in as regular wedding gown boutiques. Nicole Miller everything else is easier to take care of. you can make your invites in a weekend if you need to. and you can let el dorado royale take care of all the wedding details. heres a wedding and ss i shot there last year Leigh Miller Photography. i will be back there in may so before your wedding. im sure i will post that one here too have you been to EDR?

i actually had a couple who was going to do that! not so i could be there to get great pics but just because they were worried about where we were going to sit! the coordinator found a place for us with the guests and that was ok with the couple. i mean you might be wanting to talk about your wedding night activities and i really dont need to hear THAT!!!

you know its funny, sometimes people seat me with the guests at even the fanciest most formal places. id say its about 50/50 at domestic weddings. glad you love your photographer! cant wait to seem some pics

if were talking about receptions not ceremonies thats a little different. at destination wedding receptions i am usually seated with the guests. ive never asked to be - its just what my couples have done. i wouldnt be offended if i were seated somewhere else at all. DWs seem to be more intimate and i form a really close relationship with those couples. i always tell them - you darn well better make sure you like me cause were going to spending a lot of time together
